Ohio Means Jobs will be holding the bi-annual Dress for Success event at the Hi-TEC Center in Hillsboro on April 6th where Jodi Jackson will lead a workshop on self-esteem and other crucial professional development skills. The Highland Chamber originally brought the event to the county in May of 2013.

The event operates on an invi-tation basis and provides self-es-teem and interviewing skills and of course a complete make-over. "The mission of Dress for Success® is to promote the economic independence of dis-advantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of

support and career development tools that help them thrive in work and in life. This is a day to focus on the women that are selected to increase job searching knowledge, receive professional attire for job interviews and improve self-esteem and self-con-fidence. We are thankful to have had community support to provide hairstyles, make-up, lunch, work-shops and self-development tools." If you would like to volunteer, donate, or provide services such as nail care, hair styles and cuts, make-up application or facials, please contact Ohio Means Jobs by calling 937-393-1933.
