AREA OF RESEARCH INTEREST

My research effort is focused on impacts of climate change on marine ecology and food web structures in Arctic coastal waters. With special emphasis on ocean-fjord-glacier interaction in Greenland fjord environments in contact with the Greenland Ice Sheet. I work with pelagic processes and relations between oceanography, chemistry and biology within zoo-plankton ecology, transfer efficiency at the basis of the food-web, species composition, production and carbon flow. I hold broad experience in fieldwork, laboratory experimental work within science and monitoring projects.
