São Paulo is a synthesis of this continent sized country. A cauldron of cultures, brought by immigrants from all quarters of the world: the orient (being Japan the most important), Europe (a patchwork for cultures) and Africa (of many ethnic groups brought as slaves). These people who enriched the culture of the country were assimilated and are today proud citizens, contributing with a wealth of knowledge and a driving spirit who put the country in motion after Brazil became an independent country in 1822.

451 years: São Paulo celebrates its anniversary this year with parts of its history impressed on all races. Founded in 1554 by Jesuit priests, São Paulo was born destined to be the economic and cultural heart of the country. From the arrival of the first immigrants who settled here for the work in the coffee-growing sector, at the end of the 19th century, the city has seen a trajectory of constant growth. São Paulo is Brazil’s main gateway for foreign visitors. Business tourism has made the country city a strategic point within Mercosul, linked directly to the main world capitals.

São Paulo attracts today’s biggest and most important international events, in the economic, cultural, scientific or sporting area, it is a metropolis that offers a service infrastructure of the highest efficiency and quality.

The city hosts from small meetings to large exhibitions. It holds more than 200 events per day, offering more than 250 thousand square meters of space in pavilions and areas for congresses and fairs.

SAO 04 | FD Interlagos Circuit with Driving Course

Loads of emotion at high speed! A complete course in driving: with explanation on the world of motor sports, sports code, starting procedures and hierarchy of sports authorities.

Lunch at the Driving Center with instructors and drivers. Visit to the José Carlos Pace Racing Circuit (Interlagos), where practice will take place, always followed by qualified instructors/pilots, who will introduce you to the local characteristics: control tower, GP circuit, old circuit, box, pit lane and equipment of Driving Center.

Five-hour tour visiting Embú das Artes, a small village 30 Km from São Paulo, with a craft and antiques market as well as many buildings from the colonial period.
