Job Summary:

The ARNP’s primary responsibility is to serve as an ARNP within an integrated healthcare team for the Agency. This position can be based at any of the agency locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Serve as an ARNP for the comprehensive physical assessments of clients who also suffer with substance use disorders and/or psychiatric illnesses.

 Work with clients and the healthcare team in the treatment of clients with substance-related disorders.  Interpret and monitor laboratory test results.

 Educate individuals, families and the public about preventing and treating substance use disorders and physical medical illnesses.

 Provide psychoeducation with individuals, couples, families and groups.  Prescribe, administer and monitor medications and their effects/side effects.

 Coordinate the medical/psychiatric/substance-related care of individuals throughout their course of illness and within an integrated care environment comprised of other healthcare professionals.  Assist the healthcare team in the reintegration of individuals by assisting with lifestyle changes that

promote recovery and empowerment.

 Triage, consult and refer to other services/agencies and facilities as needed.

 Work with the healthcare team in the management of the psychosocial consequences of physical illness such as cancer, AIDS, asthma, headaches, heart disease, ulcers, diabetes, obesity, etc.  Participates in staff meetings and other meetings as required.

 Must work effectively in an atmosphere of dignity and respect for clients and co-workers.  Participates in RRHS internal training programs

 Participates in RRHS Quality Improvement Program  Other duties as assigned

The Behavioral Health Technician’s primary responsibility is to perform point of care testing, monitor clients in the absence of medical personnel, and establish rapport with clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Establish rapport with clients.

 Always treat clients with respect and dignity.

 Monitor client’s behavior and provide crisis intervention as needed.

 Comply with procedures as they pertain to unobserved and observed urine drug screen collections.  Comply with medication procedures as they pertain to picking up medications, observing medication

being taken, transcribing medication order on the MOR, discontinuing medications, and accepting medications onto the campus.

 Monitor clients for need to contact the nursing staff.

 Organize work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sort specimens, check labeling; log specimens; arrange reports for delivery; keep work surfaces clean and orderly.

 Assist with bio-hazardous waste pick up and record keeping.

 Maintain client confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.

 Identify and communicate abnormal client conditions by alerting supervisory personnel.  Assist staff with related duties as needed.

Job Summary:

The Case Manager maintains a standard caseload of clients who have demonstrated the ability to

function independently in a non-restrictive environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.

Maintain a standard caseload of clients monthly who have demonstrated the ability to function

independently in a non-restrictive environment.

2.

Conduct outreach to identify appropriate client base.

3.

Assess the needs of each client, develop and implement a goal-oriented service plan to maintain the

client’s stability and independence in the community. Link to needed resources, and monitor those

services while advocating for needs of the client. All assessment, coordination, and monitoring of

services will be conducted in the community and within the client’s homes or other natural

environment.

4.

Establish and maintain linkage of community housing and other resources for coordination of service.

5.

Ensure on-going quality assurance/utilization and compliance with the Agency’s policies and

procedures and Medicaid standards.

6.

Ensure the confidentiality of all client records.

7.

Involve the client and family in planning and decision-making. Initiate compliance and follow through

on service/treatment objectives within the service plans.

8.

Conduct regular 2 home visits per month with each client (at a minimum) and provide in-home crisis

intervention in the event the client is at risk of hospitalization or eviction.

9.

Advocate on behalf of the client during lease negotiations and ensure protection of clients rights.

10.

Develop and monitor good working relationships and collaboration with other providers and agencies

to assist in service coordination planning, linkage and discharge.

11.

Complete accurate documentation, reports, service plans and activity reports in a timely manner as is

outlined in the case management general procedures and by their due dates. Failure to do so will

result in disciplinary action and may lead to termination of employment.

12.

Complete service plan upon entry and update every 6 months and when new goals or needs arise.

13.

Ensure each case file meets with acceptable standards as set forth in the agency’s policies, Case

Management procedures, Quality Improvement Program, Medicaid, and other required guidelines.

14.

Inform the Program Manager of any significant changes in the case plan, especially regarding projected

date of discharge from placement.

15.

If at any time, the case manager is aware of or suspects that abuse or neglect has occurred, as defined

in Section 415.504 F.S., the case manager is required to immediately report such known or suspected

abuse or neglect to Florida Department of Children and Families via the Florida Protective Services

System at 1-800-962-2873. Failure to do so shall be grounds for disciplinary action and may result in

termination of employment.

16.

Meet the Agency’s billing and performance requirements averaging 120 or more billable service hours

monthly.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor will provide program oversight of and assist with clinical supervision of the Methadone/Outpatient clinical staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Ensure appropriate co-occurring services are provided to all clients in the program.

 Ensure that staff workers, in the facilitation of accurate placements and proper care, complete initial assessments.

 Serve as a liaison by monitoring all activities of staff assigned to the department, which includes, but not limited to attendance, behavior, and documentation, and reporting results to direct supervisor.  Must provide 20 hours each week of client contact hours. Provide individual counseling to assigned

caseload in accordance with agency and licensing requirements. Ensure individualized treatment is designed for each client.
