My Workspace is an individual online worksite that functions as a private
workspace for each user. When you log in, you will automatically open your
My Workspace, which will display the Message of the Day and My Workspace
Information boxes. By default, these boxes contain announcements and
information from the system administrator.

All of your courses will be arranged across the top of the screen in tabs. If you have more courses that can be
displayed, those courses will appear in a drop down list either on the extreme right or the left underneath the “My

Refresh
This is one of the most important buttons in Sakai. Use it to
refresh and go back to top menu of this section.
MenuSchedule allows instructors or site organizers to post items in a calendar format. The calendar has
day, week, month, year, and flat list views.
Many instructors use Schedule to post readings for each class on the day they are due to be read.
Research, group, and department projects often use Schedule to post group deadlines.
Merging calendars: All calendars on sites you have access to are merged in your My
Workspace Schedule. In worksites, you can click Merge to selectively merge calendars from
other sites to which you have access.

WebDAV allows you to easily transfer files and folders from your local computer to
your Resources folder. WebDAV stands for "Web‐based Distributed Authoring and
Versioning". It allows users to collaboratively edit and manage files on remote
web servers.
Once you have set up WebDAV, your computer will treat your Resources section
like any other folder on your local system. You will be able to drag and drop files
and folders from Resources just as you would on your computer.
