Safety Notes

 Before installing the device, please read this manual carefully and follow instructions indicated to ensure proper operation. Please keep this manual for future reference.

 Please powering on the device, please check the input power voltage carefully, the camera accepts DC12V, otherwise, it may cause damage to the camera.

 Please put power, video and control cables at safe place in order not to cause malfunction to the device.

 Please put the device into use at required working temperature and humidity, working

condition of the device is 0℃~+40℃,humidity at<90﹪. Please avoid to have unrelated

objects get into the device like corrosive liquid that may cause damage / danger.  Please avoid shock, vibration, soaking may cause to the device when transporting and

installing, otherwise, it may cause damage to the camera.

 Please only refer to authorized personnel to repair the device, do not disassemble the camera by yourself.

 Only use shielded control and video cables, and the cables should be connected separately in order to ensure proper use. Do not aim the camera lens at sunlight or strong lights that may cause damage to the imaging system of the device.

 Please use soft cloth to clean the device, do not use strong or abrasive detergent to clean that will damage the device’s housing / lens.

Cable Connection

Connect the camera to relative devices with cables supplied with the camera and prepared by yourselves.

3G-SDI Cable (Optional)

Power Connection

Connect power adapter supplied together with the camera to power source, after powered on,camera’s power indicator lights up.

Operation

Before operating the camera, check if power and other devices have been correctly connected.

Please refer “Installation” and “Cable Connection” for the details.

Zoom Focus

In none-menu status: press or button

to adjust zooming times, press or

button to manually focus the camera.

Menu

Press“MENU”button to enter menu.

Menu Operation

In Menu statues: or to select among

menu options, or to change option /

value.

Menu Confirmation

In menu status, press MENU button to get into relative menu option after it has been selected; press MENU button and stay 3 seconds to exit menu operation.

Save Power-Up Position

In none-menu status, press MENU button and stay 3 seconds to save the current position as power-up position and shows “POSITION SAVED”.

Installation

The installation type of the camera is wall mount installation.

Note

Before installing,make sure there is enough space to install the camera and its parts.

Make sure the installed place is strong and safe enough to hold the camera and relative parts, it is suggested that the installed place can withstand 4 times the weight of the camera and its relative parts.

Wall Mount

1. According to diameter and position of the 4 installation holes (As shown below) on the bracket, drill 4 holes on the wall and fix the bracket onto the wall by using 4 screws which should be prepared by you.

2. Use screws to fix the camera on the bracket, fix the limit screw according to actual requirement, and make sure the camera is tightly fixed onto the bracket before your hands leave the camera.

Menu Explanation

Main Menu

Press MENU button to enter / exit menu.

Menu Hint

It displays currently selected menu option.

Menu Options

It displays options under current menu hint Press or button to select among

menu options. When an options turned from white color to yellow color, it means the option is selected. Press MENU button to enter the option.

Submenus

From main menu, navigate to select <EXPOSURE> item, press MENU button to enter the submenu.

VIDEO is used to change video value

SHARPNESS: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

CONTRAST: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.

SATURATION: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.

HUE: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.

2DNR LEVEL (2D NOISE REDUCTION): ON, OFF

It is suggested to turn off the 2DNR level for a color video. Otherwise, it will affect the video sharpness. The higher the level is, the better the noise reduction performs, but it will affected video sharpness more.

3DNR LEVEL (3D NOISE REDUCTION): AUTO,1,2,3,4,OFF.

Exposure

EXPOSURE menu is used to adjust exposure value.

MODE

FULL AUTO: Gain, Shutter Speed and Iris value are adjusted automatically accordingly to working environment.

MANUAL: manually adjust Gain, Shutter Speed and Iris.

GAIN: 0, +2, +4, +6, +8, +10, +12, +14, +16, +18, +20, +22, +24, +26, +28,+30。 SPEED:1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/25, 1/50, 1/75, 1/100, 1/120, 1/150, 1/215, 1/300, 1/425, 1/600, 1/1000,1/1250, 1/1750, 1/2500, 1/3500,1/6000, 1/10000.

EXP-COMP: once EXP-COMP is set as On, below level options become available -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6, +7; +7 is the maximum compensation value for bright, -7 is the maximum compensation value for dark.

BLC: ON, OFF

Backlight compensation (BLC) is video gain done automatically to correct the exposure of subjects that are in front of a bright light source.

ANTI-FLICKER: OFF, 50HZ, 60HZ.

This option is used to address the image flicker issue when camera is used in different lighting environment.

White Balance

WHITE BALANCE menu is used to select from white balance modes

MODE: AUTO, ATW, ONE PUSH, INDOOR,

OUTDOOR, MANUAL,SODIUM LAMP,

FLUO LAMP.

“ONE PUSH”: press or button to select

“ONE PUSH TRIGGER” PRESS OK, aim the camera at a pure white object (say a white paper), then press MENU button.

“MANUAL” R.GAIN and B. GAIN value can be chosen from 0~255.

Zoom Focus

ZOOM FOCUS is used to change ZOOM FOCUS.

ZOOM SPEED: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8(the

bigger number is, the faster the speed is).

FOCUS SPEED: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8(the

bigger number is, the faster the speed is).

FOCUS LIMIT:1.5M, 2M, 3M, 6M, 10M

D-ZOOM LIMIT: X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, ZOOM FOCUS
