In September, The New Zealand Herald, Weekend Herald,

Herald on Sunday and all inserted magazines will introduce a

modular ad system.

Modular advertising is a term used to describe ads that are

based on standard fixed sizes and shapes rather than variable

columns and centimetres.

The majority of sections are divided into modules across

both compact, square compact and broadsheet formats.

A compact page measures 8 x 8 modules, and a broadsheet

page 12 x 12 modules.

Classifieds and Column Centimetres

Classifieds advertising in products such as HeraldHomes,

Driven and HeraldJobs can also be purchased on a column

centimetre or per line basis. For further details see page 26.
