Illinois State University Funded by a five-year federal Transitioning Paraprofessionals into Teachers of English Learners (TPTEL) grant, this program is open only to bilingual individuals who are currently working as paraprofessionals and will commit to working in high need school districts after obtaining their teacher certification. Three cohorts will be admitted for a total of 50 students.

The final cohort of this funded

program is already underway, so ISU is no longer recruiting.
