Global PMO Organization

Huawei has established 3-level project management offices (PMO) operating in countries, regions and headquarters respectively. They are Project Management Office, Program Management Office and Portfolio Management Office. The PMO in country level takes charge of the implementation of each projects. PMO in region level is in charge of delivery solutions and supervise the final delivery. And PMO in headquarter level functions as a control tower and weather station. The overall organization is to ensure the project to meet customers’ requirements and enhance the performance of the Huawei project management service time-to-time.

Integrated IT System

The ICT service’s tools are integrated in Huawei’s whole IT system. iPM and iSite are the core of these tools. iPM (IBM Rational Portfolio Manager) is the project management tool managing all the on-going projects and covering all the project key factors. Site Management Tool iSite is developed by Huawei itself to simultaneously manage large numbers of sites. In addition, this tool provides a unified platform for prompt information communication and problem solution. With this tool, the rate of the project process and the site situation can be easily obtained, which effectively ensure the high efficiency of the project management.

Engineering Delivery Quality Policy
