THE GREATEST ADVENTURES LIE AHEAD IN NEW RIVERTOWN

Take a stroll down to the newest part of The City—lively Rivertown! Here the locals, including intrepid Ozarks’ explorer Pearl Brazen, have set up shop where the mighty Mystic River rolls at their feet!

Stop by NEW Clara Belle’s Cinnamon Bread (D-4) for our world-famous sweet treat that shares the shop’s name. It’s where our bakers make fresh options like Apple Cinnamon Bread, Peach, Time Traveler drizzled with caramel and chocolate and, of course, the classic original Cinnamon Bread. Piping hot out of the oven it melts in your mouth and is now proudly served with Starbucks® coffee if you like…the perfect pairing!

Looking for a City staple for lunch or dinner? Rivertown has you covered with

the NEW Rivertown Smokehouse (E-4). Grills are manned by our Pit Masters with 20+ years expertise and our double wood- fired smokers produce 1,200 lbs. of meat including Hickory-smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork, Baby-back Ribs, Chipotle-rubbed Turkey and Texas-style sausage. Plus, kitchen artisans crafting signature sides like Molasses Baked Beans, Confetti Corn Salad, Fire-roasted Brussel Sprouts, Tater Tots and Smoked Creamy Double Mac

& Cheese! And, for little explorers, kids’ meals like Chicken Bites or Mac & Cheese served with a side, fruit and juice box. Be sure to save room for dessert like Gooey Butter Cake or our Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding…YUM!

And, no trip to Rivertown would be

complete without a ride on NEW Mystic River Falls® (B-5), current title-holder of The Tallest Drop In The Western Hemisphere with its 4.5-story triumphant splashdown! Climb aboard the 8-person family rafts for a winding half-mile river journey as you see scenic waterfalls and brave the rolling rapids and hairpin turns. Then your party will ascend a more than 8-story lift tower, while your raft rotates all the while to reveal picturesque views of The City below, followed by dropping into a 6-story elevated river channel before making the final plunge!

Plus, be sure to grab a front row seat at Rivertown’s newest production “Down By The Riverside” starring the NEW Rivertown Ramblers in the Dockside Theater (D-4).

If you’ve ever tried to turn pottery, you know that it is no easy task. Silver Dollar City’s crafts colony is proud have some of the most dedicated and talented potters in the land. Our clay throwers love to introduce people to pottery through daily demonstrations at the wheel and doubly enjoy watching guests fall in love with pieces they create.

While in the shop you’ll want to take home one of each of the many functional works of art. We suggest you start with our beautiful and unique handcrafted mugs. These mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe, not to mention an excellent gift for those you love! With different mug sizes to choose from in lots of different colors and glazes, you’re sure to find just the right mug to give (or keep for yourself).

And, with fall just around the corner we suggest you check out the BOOs or the Jacks. That’s right, these irresistibly cute ghosts and fun-faced pottery pumpkins will make a sensational addition to your harvest décor. No two Jack-o-lanterns have the same face…each have their own special personality, and the BOOs come in two

different sizes. All perfectly fit a tea light inside or beneath to add a special glow from within. If the “spirit” hits you right we suggest getting one of each to make a happy haunting pair!

Make sure to stop by Hillcreek Pottery (D-5) today to take home some of these lovely treasures! Plus, visit with our demonstrating crafters and watch a lump of clay transform into a beautiful piece of art, made to last a lifetime.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We are SOOOO excited that you’ve chosen to spend your family’s quality time with us and we want to give you some insider tips on how to navigate your adventures to make the most of your day…

Challenge Your Sense Of Disc overy—

Our beautiful park (lovingly known as “The City”) is NOT your average park…it is filled with adventures that our founders believed were best experienced as “surprises”. All the nature (trees and lush

landscaping) that keep us cool and adds to

The City’s charm, coupled with winding pathways, can sometimes make rides and attractions seem hidden to first-time visitors.

The BIGGEST KEY to keep in mind for wayfinding is THAT THE PARK IS REALLY JUST 1 BIG CIRCLE! The circle starts at the TOP of the park on The City’s Square and is completed at the BOTTOM of the park in the NEW Rivertown Area.

(Tip: If you are going downhill you are going deeper into the

park, if you are heading uphill you are heading back to The City’s Square and the park entrance.)

Looking To Get On A Coaster First?

From the TOP of the park on The City’s Square be sure to head LEFT, this will take you DOWN Hill Street (that’s right…if you don’t want to come up the biggest hill in the

park we suggest you go left first). On Hill Street you will find most of our BIG THRILL RIDES & COASTERS

(WildFire, PowderKeg, Fire-In-The-Hole and you aren’t that far from Outlaw Run and The Giant

Barn Swing). Looking for the other record- breaking biggie, Time Traveler? It does set

on the right side of the park next door to Thunderation…don’t worry, either just keep

going around the circle and look for them near the Christmas Shop or Glass

Blowing Shop OR backtrack to the TOP of the park, past the Blacksmith and

over the truss bridge to start time traveling.

CITY GUIDE

Needing To Find

Kid-Friendly Areas?

From the TOP of the park on The City’s Square go RIGHT first, this is Valley Road and is the fastest path to our 3 kid-friendly areas, plus Thunderation and Time Traveler.

1) Half Dollar Holler — Follow Valley Road and turn left at the Christmas Shop to find Half Dollar

Holler’s play area for littles or the Frisco Steam Train that the whole family will enjoy.

2) The Grand Exposition — Take Valley Road all the way to the Tater Twist stand and KEEP GOING STRAIGHT…all the way to the very end, where you’ll find The Grand Exposition filled with 10 family friendly rides. Here’s where most little ones take their first coaster ride aboard the mini-coaster—The Grand Exposition Coaster!

(Tip: If it is your child’s first ever official coaster ride on either the little coaster or one of our bigger giants…let our ride attendants know so we can celebrate with you by presenting your child with a ribbon to commemorate this special first!)

3) Fireman’s Landing — Back on Valley Road round the corner and GO PAST the Tater Twist stand, walk across the railroad tracks and

round the next corner where you’ll find Fireman’s Landing on the right. Here you’ll discover 10 more family adventures including the climate-

controlled Fire Station No. 3 with multi-level interactive play and where you’ll meet Lucky The Rescue Dog® (see times on page 6).

(Tip: SAVE TIME & FRUSTRATION by getting your kiddos measured at the Fireman’s Landing Measuring Station located in the Fire Station. Once measured they will be given a wristband to wear for the day

that denotes their height and won’t have to be measured again at other rides. PLUS, we suggest you write your cell phone number

on the wristband so that we can contact you right away if you get separated from your child!

FOR NEW VISITORS:

Find Selfie Spots & Instagram Gold—

There’s all sorts of super cool photo spots all over The City that will make your

followers envious, but more importantly will create memories you can keep for a lifetime! Ask a City Citizen to direct you to the following that are favorites… 1) The Log & Ax at

The City’s Entrance

(of course you have to get a photo here, everybody does!) 2) Homestead Ridge

(a legit homestead with multiple cabins, barnyard, schoolhouse and church…this is the jackpot of genuine 1880s photo ops that make it appear that you’ve stepped back in time!)

3) The Silver Dollar City Stagecoach

(on the porch of the Ashley’s Tintype Photography) 4) The Coffin In Midtown

(next to the exit of Grandfather’s Mansion) 5) The Stocks At The Flooded Mine’s Entrance (both fun to take and fun to pose with others) 6) The Jailhouse In Midtown

(don’t worry about the inmate snoozing inside, he won’t mind if you squeeze in for a photo behind the bars!) 7) With Our Zany Citizens…yes, they’d love to take a photo with you—just ask!

Want Fun For The Whole Family?

No matter the age, sprinkled throughout The City there’s something for all speeds and thrill levels to be able to enjoy together.

Starting at the TOP of the park head RIGHT down Valley Road, cross the truss bridge and take the first left by the Christmas Shop behind which is the Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train’s Depot.

(Tip: This is a don’t-miss ride on a genuine steam train that just might include a fun surprise half way through the trip around the rails. Hold on to your valuables!) And, right next to the Train Depot is the Flooded Mine… this old-fashioned float trip has guns aboard that allow families to have a friendly competition as they target practice along the trek.

At the BOTTOM of the park is the All-NEW Rivertown Area where the family-raft ride NEW Mystic River Falls resides with a nearly half-mile river journey complete with an epic splashdown finale…sure to cool off everyone in your party. And, just up the road is RiverBlast where your family can take aim at passersby along the shore for some good ol’, water-blastin’ fun! And, together you can take a break from all the rides and walking with shows…must-see, crowd favorites are the Silver Dollar City Saloon currently performing Sadie’s Traveling Review in the Boatworks Theatre and Down By The Riverside starring the Rivertown Ramblers at the Dockside Theatre.

Don’t Miss Hidden Gems—

We’ve heard it before from newbies, I had no idea about…

Guided Tours of Marvel Cave: That’s

right, there’s an actual cave inside the park that

you can TAKE A GUIDED TOUR of.

It’s not just any ordinary cave… it’s Missouri’s

Deepest Cave and a registered natural landmark!

At a cool 60 to 65 degrees

year-round, this 90-minute tour is a true treasure… filled with stories, history, lore, multiple caverns, formations and you might even see a bat! Cave tours depart from the Hospitality House found at the TOP of the park at the park entrance.

That Weird Up-side Down House: Otherwise known as Grandfather’s Mansion, you have to visit it! The whole family can experience this wacky, zany and sometimes crazy house

that just might make you feel a bit off kilter in a good way…or at least it will make you all laugh! Fastest way to Grandfather’s Mansion is to go to the TOP of the park on The City’s Square and find it tucked between the Farm House at The General Store and Hannah’s Ice Cream Parlor

(Tip: Walk between the two buildings and before you get to the stairs look left!)

The Swinging Bridge: Once you’ve crossed it, it becomes a tradition every time you come! You can either enter down Valley Road next to the Christmas Shop OR in Midtown by Sullivan’s Mill pick your location.

Don’t Look Holes & Talking Bucket: From time to time as you wander around our City you’ll see signs that say “Don’t Look Here” usually above a hole in the wall…well, of course, you just have to take a peep! These could even be in ride queue lines, so be on the lookout for these extra fun surprises! And, be sure to find the Talking Bucket just up from the Train Depot as you head toward Midtown…

kids especially get a big kick out of this one!

Step into the wonder that is Brown’s Candy Factory (H-5) and you’ll be greeted with sweetness unlike any other – and that’s just Miss June that we’re talking about. Master Candy Maker, June Ward, says she has the sweetest job on earth. Having worked at Silver Dollar City for five decades, June has hundreds of flavors in her credits, turning out 90,000 lbs. of candy each year. While peanut brittle and fudge are guest favorites, Miss June and her crew of imaginative candy workers are always dreaming up new concoctions that make us say “I can’t wait to try it!” As much as we’d like to bottle up Miss June and take her home with us, the fudge from Brown’s is the next best thing. GUEST CONVENIENCE SERVICES

Lost Guests - Report lost guests to any host. (Helpful hint: We encourage you to have your kids memorize your cell phone number or visit our official ride measuring station located in Fireman’s Landing Fire Station (A-6) where we will provide you with a wristband to write your cell phone number on in the event you would get separated while on park. As always, please alert any employee in the event of this happening so we can quickly reunite you!)

Package Pickup - Don’t carry that package around all day—ask any shopkeeper about Package Pickup at the Ozark Marketplace. It’s a FREE service.

Charging Stations - Located in Fireman’s Landing, Traveler’s Stop and Opera House with USB Ports and electric. (Power cords not available.)

Lost and Found - Located at Park Entrance in the Lost & Found Booth (J-6) next to Ozark Marketplace. The City is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Items lost at a ride will remain there until park closing and at that time will be taken to Lost and Found.

Watter Bottle Refill Stations - Located across from entrance to Frisco Freight Co. Barn and Red Gold Heritage Hall restrooms.

Special Dietary Needs - Please ask at any restaurant on park. Allergen-free menu options available.

Ride Swap Program - Guests with children not meeting height requirements may enjoy rides by notifying the greeter at the ride of their situation. One adult will be allowed to ride while the second waits with kid(s). On the following ride cycle, the adults will “swap” places. Due to the nature of high thrill rides, guests will not be permitted to ride consecutively.

Stroller, Wheelchair and Electric Cart Rental - Available to rent on a first- come, first-served basis at the Park Entrance. Limited reservations for electric carts taken at 800-475-9370 (advance reservations only).

Forms Of Payment Accepted - Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and traveler’s checks are gladly accepted for amount of purchase. Identification will be required.

Attention All Guests: Traffic on Hwy. 76 can become congested in the evening (especially on Saturdays or in the event of inclement weather) which impacts your exit wait time in the parking lot. We invite you to stay and enjoy our indoor shows, shopping and dining as the park’s exit will be crowded. We also encourage the use of alternate routes into Branson as you exit to lessen your wait in traffic.

Remember: You can get directions by using your car's GPS system or on your phone. Just type in your starting point as 399 Silver Dollar City Parkway, Branson, MO 65616.

1st Alternate Route: At the intersection of Hwy. 76 & 265, turn right onto Hwy. 265. Follow this to the intersection of Hwy. 376 and turn left at the light returning to Branson.

2nd Alternate Route: At the intersection of Hwy. 76 & 465, turn left (North) onto Hwy. 465 (Ozark Mountain Highroad). Continue to the Hwy. 465 / 65 Interchange where you can head SOUTH to Branson or NORTH to Springfield.
