EMPLOYMENT STATUS TAXES

Consultants will be employed by Mauve Technology International in

Bahrain. There are no taxes in Bahrain, however consultants may still be liable for tax in their country of residence.

PAYROLL & INVOICING SOCIAL SECURITY

Mauve can offer local payroll service in Bahrain. Once the consultant has obtained a project visa, 4% of their local salary must be paid to the general organization for social insurance (GOSI) each month. This is a worker’s insurance.

WORK PERMITS AND VISAS ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Consultants intending to work in Bahrain have to obtain a project visa. This visa is applied for by our local lawyer and sponsored by Mauve Bahrain. It is possible for the consultant to enter Bahrain on a visit visa for business and apply for the project visa in country.

Contract review and set-up, expense advice and processing, monthly statement of accounts and bank account information and set-up are all services which are included within our monthly fees. In addition to these services, we can also provide corporate health care, travel assistance and banking services at very competitive rates.

Consultants will be assigned by Mauve Technology International L.L.C, to work under a service agreement as an employee of Mauve

Technol-ogy International L.L.C’s partner, in Kuwait. There are no taxes levied in Kuwait.

PAYROLL & INVOICING SOCIAL SECURITY

Local payroll will operate in Kuwait.

A compulsory health insurance scheme applies for all expatriate residents of Kuwait. This entitles them to free government health care and hospital. The annual premium established for expatriate workers is 86 KD per year or contract effective once the consultant has a work permit.

WORK PERMITS AND VISAS ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Consultants who wish to work in Kuwait have to obtain the correct work and residence permits. These permits are applied for and sponsored by our local partner. It is possible for consultants to enter Kuwait on a commercial visit visa and then have it converted into a work and residence permit.

Oman

EMPLOYMENT STATUS TAXES

Consultants will be employed by our local partner in Oman. There is no income tax deduction in Oman.

PAYROLL & INVOICING SOCIAL SECURITY

Mauve can offer local payroll in Oman. Payment of Social Security is applicable to Omani nationals only. It is charged at 17%.

WORK PERMITS AND VISAS ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Normally, our local partner will apply for labour clearance and

employment visas on behalf of the consultants prior to their

entry into Oman. When labour clearance has been granted, our

partner will then submit the employment visa applications to the

DGPR for the consultants to enter Oman. It is possible to enter

Oman on a BV, but the stay in country is limited, and an

exten-sion cannot always be guaranteed.

Consultants will be employed by our local Partner in Qatar. Consul-tants will be on the partners local payroll once the work and residence

permits have been obtained. There are no income tax deductions in Qatar.

PAYROLL & INVOICING SOCIAL SECURITY

Mauve can provide local payroll in Qatar. All expatriate residents of Qatar will be issued with a health card which entitles them to government health care and hospital.

WORK PERMITS AND VISAS ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Foreigners intending to work in Qatar have to obtain proper work and residence permits. These permits are applied for and sponsored by our local Partner. It is possible for consultants to enter Qatar on a commercial business visa and then have it converted into a work and residence permit in country.

Consultants will be employed by our specially selected local partner in

Saudi Arabia. Consultants are not subject to taxes in Saudi Arabia, however they may still be liable for taxes in their country of residence.

PAYROLL & INVOICING SOCIAL SECURITY

Consultants will be on local payroll once work and residence visas are obtained. We can also provide local invoicing in Saudi Arabia.

Once work and residence visa are obtained 20% of consultant’s local salary must be paid to the general organization for social insurance (GOSI) each month.

WORK PERMITS AND VISAS ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Consultants working in Saudi Arabia must obtain a work visa and resi-dence permit (Iqama). The work visa is sponsored and applied for by our local partner. It is possible for consultants to enter Saudi Arabia on a com-mercial visit visa and apply for the work visa and Iqama in country.

Both local payroll and local invoicing is offered in UAE. UAE does not impose social security taxes for expatriates.

WORK PERMITS AND VISAS ADDITIONAL SERVICES

To work in the UAE consultants must obtain a residence visa. The visa is issued by the immigration department once approval from the ministry of labour has been granted.
