MSSNYPAC REPORT TO THE MSSNY COUNCIL

This report reflects the financial status of MSSNYPAC during the 2021 fiscal year period of 1/1/21 through

4/14/21. We have collected $50,310.48 from 216 individual supporters. Each dollar contributed to MSSNYPAC

is split between operating expenses and contributions to candidates in a ratio of 2:8. For comparison, prior year

collections for the same time period are as follows:

2020: $32,483.11 from 188 supporters

2019: $56,299.02 from 251 supporters

2018: $121,734.88 from 453 supporters

2017: $67,339.12 from 343 supporters

MSSNYPAC’s income as compared to other industry PAC revenues during the 2-year period January 1, 2019

through December 31, 2020.

MSSNYPAC respectfully requests that leaders of MSSNY and County Medical Societies support our ongoing work

to build relationships with the members of the NYS Legislature. Your membership in MSSNYPAC and

encouragement of your colleagues within your circle of influence strengthens the physician’s collective voice in

the political arena. A strong PAC is a critically important tool of our profession. Considering the many policy

initiatives that potentially impact healthcare delivery, it is vital that we work together toward our mutual goals.
