Plan, deliver, and evaluate thematic instructional strategies impacting student
achievement and professional development for teachers at magnet schools.

Innovative Program Theme Integration
1.1 DESIRED OUTCOME: Innovative Program teachers/coordinators will be able to identify
and integrate innovative teaching strategies to maintain and continuously improve
programmatic theme integration and student achievement.

Customize and/or personalize (facilitate) innovative curriculum, projects, activities for collegial sharing based on what the national MSA merit award winning schools have proven were effectively implemented in their innovative programs.
Integrate (facilitate) instructional innovative strategies in the specific theme innovative program across the curriculum, projects, and activities in the class, school-wide and/or community.
Identify best practices and innovative strategies incorporated in theme-related innovative programs. Identify non-traditional instructional strategies to integrate in the innovative program classroom. Evaluate the effectiveness of theme integration projects and activities implemented in the classes, school-wide, as well as in the community.
Collaborate with all colleagues by sharing expertise in the use of the specific theme integration (curriculum, projects, activities) in PLC’s and other form of collaborative opportunities.
Collaborate with grade level team colleagues in the use of theme specific instructional innovative strategies.
Demonstrate (facilitate) integration of innovative program theme in the classroom.
Implement (facilitate) the innovative instructional theme-related strategies (projects & activities) across the curriculum in the classes, school-wide, and in the community.

1.2 Desired Outcome: Teachers/Coordinators will be able to incorporate effective
school-wide and community marketing and recruitment strategies to maintain and
attract a diverse student population to our innovative programs.

videoconference coordinator’s conferencing.
Collaborate with experts in the field of marketing and
recruitment to develop effective models and strategies to market and recruit.

Financial Resources for Innovative Program Sustainability
1.3 DESIRED OUTCOME: Teachers/Coordinators will be able to identify innovative teaching
strategies which effectively develop the critical and creative learning/thinking skills in
students (student achievement) and incorporate in grant applications and other financial
resource application opportunities for program sustainability.

Implement, study and research Innovative strategy (ies) in the classroom or identified learning environment, including collection of data to document effectiveness. Apply for a district foundation grant and/or other financial resource applications with a written application describing the innovation and implementation plan. Formally and informally share Innovative ideas/strategies/ curriculum in PLC’s and other school-based models, as well as at district-level.
Identify and implement selected Innovative strategy(ies) in the classroom or identified learning environment. Teachers/ Coordinators followed-through with applying for a district foundation grant. Informally share innovative ideas/strategies/ with colleagues and collaborative teams to study/research and implement in the classroom or learning environment.
