Dear passengers, dear public transport users,
Our range of tickets is as individual as your mobility needs. No matter whether you use public transport regularly or occasionally, whether you want to travel alone or in a group, whether you are more interested in a long-term or time-limited ticket—our wide range of special, single day and time tickets, which we will present to you in this brochure, will give just the right answers to every need, however individual.
What is particularly versatile is the usability of the tickets we provide for you. Every ticket from ESWE Verkehr is always a ticket of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV), which can be used on all forms of local public transport in the 6500 RMV tariff zone (Wiesbaden/Mainz) and in some adjoining areas in the 6600 tariff zone.* So not only can you use all the urban bus lines from ESWE Verkehr and the MVG (Mainzer Verkehrs- gesellschaft), as well as the urban MVG trams here, but also the local bus lines provided by the RTV (Rheingau-Taunus-Verkehrsgesellschaft), the regional bus lines of the RMV and regional rail transport, meaning the S-Bahn and regional trains.
And the principle of individual mobility also applies to the geographical area in which your ticket applies. Because the level 13 tariffs apply in the entire RMV 6500 tariff zone and to some adjoining areas in the 6600 tariff zone (to aid simplicity we will only talk about the “6500 tariff zone”, see page 10).
And that’s not all. To aid networked mobility, meaning the possibility to link different modes of transport, ESWE Verkehr will also rent bicycles to you. You will find infor- mation about ESWE Verkehr meinRad on pages 12 and 13.

You will find a notice at most stops that will show you which stops you can reach from there with a short-distance ticket.
SINGLE TICKET, EINZELFAHRSCHEIN
• one person, one ticket, one trip
• only when commencing travel immediately
• changes allowed
EVENT TICKET, VERANSTALTUNGSTICKET
• travel particularly cheaply to numerous public festivals in Wiesbaden and Mainz, for example, to the “Sternschnuppenmarkt” or to the “Rheingauer Weinwoche”
• applies to return travel until 5 am the next morning
• available during the relevant event period from all pre-sale outlets, at ticket machines and from bus drivers*
Please stamp the ticket in the stamping machines on commencing your trip (out and back).
“KOMBITICKET”
• local transport tickets integrated in a cultural or sport event (and therefore included in the entrance price for the event)
• mostly applies in the entire RMV tariff area, sometimes also in the area of the Verkehrsverbund Mainz-Wiesbaden (VMW)
• can be recognised from the printed logo “KombiTicket” on the entrance ticket
• permits return transport to and from the event location

10 OTHER IMPORTANT INFO
Travel in the region in the entire 6500 tariff zone
The tariffs detailed on page 15 for price level 13 apply throughout the RMV 6500 tariff zone. This includes both the two state capitals Wiesbaden and Mainz and—
on the Hessian side—Bischofsheim, Ginsheim-Gustavsburg and Walluf and—on the Rhineland Palatinate side—Wackernheim and Zornheim. Price level 13 also applies to some adjoining zones of the 6600 tariff zone, namely to Hochheim am Main (including the Massenheim district) and the Hofheim district Wallau.
Guaranteed punctuality
As per the 10-minute guarantee given by the RMV if there is a delay of more than 10 minutes at their destination, customers will be entitled to a proportionate re- fund of their fare, if the guarantee conditions are met. The amount of fare refunds can be taken from the current refund tables. Instead of a proportionate refund of their fare, between 9 pm (scheduled departure) and the end of operating hours (5 am or last journey designated as a night line) customers can be refunded taxi costs up to a maximum of 25 euros, if it foreseeable that the destination would only be reached after a delay of more than 10 minutes. This rule may only be clai- med by one person per ticket and delay/cancellation.

11 OTHER IMPORTANT INFO
Taking other people with you free of charge
According to the regulation for taking people with you that applies throughout the RMV holders of time and special tickets with an adult tariff (weekly, monthly and annual tickets, including 9-am tickets, 65-plus monthly tickets and the Seniors’
Ticket Hessen Komfort) as well as JobTickets and FirmenCards that entitle them to take people with them, may take one adult and an unlimited number of children under the age of 15 with them from Monday to Friday from 7 pm—and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Hessen and on 24 and 31 December—
within the price level booked.
Furthermore, according to the expanded regulation for taking people with you from the VMW (Verkehrsverbund Mainz-Wiesbaden) holders of the time and special tickets detailed above (however, excluding JobTickets, FirmenCards and LandesTicket Hessen) may take all their own or three other children under the age of 15 with them free of charge from Monday to Friday during the day as well (until 7 pm). This VMW regulation applies in the entire 6500 tariff zone (see left) to all RMV modes of transport, meaning to all bus and rail products (excluding IC and ICE trains). If a child (aged 6 to 14) uses a ticket, the expanded VMW regulation for taking people with you will not apply.
There and back easily within the region
You will find the tariffs for journeys to neighbouring RMV tariff zones on page 15.
It’s best to ask the bus driver* about trips to the area surrounding Wiesbaden and Mainz. If you take tours to the surrounding area more often, we will be pleased to advise you in our Mobility Centre or at our Mobility Info points (see back page of this brochure).
Important: Since 2020, there has been a new, especially cheap price level 30. This
“neighbourhood tariff” applies to all trips between the Wiesbaden urban area (including Amöneburg, Kastel, Kostheim) and the five neighbouring municipalities in the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, Eltville, Kiedrich, Niedernhausen, Schlangenbad and Taunusstein.

12 BICYCLE HIRE SYSTEM “MEINRAD”
Inexpensive, environmentally-friendly, throughout the region—The bicycle hire system “meinRad” is a joint mobility offer provided by ESWE Verkehr meinRad and MVGmeinRad GmbH. Users of the system can choose from over 1,200 bikes to hire at over 200 hire stations in Wiesbaden, Mainz, Ingelheim, Budenheim and Ginsheim-Gustavsburg.
Hiring, parking and returning bikes works really easily using the free “meinRad” app on your smartphone—self-explanatory and intuitive. Online authentication when registering for the first time is just as uncomplicated. You will be registered with ESWE Verkehr meinRad in no time at all and can then start cycling immediately.

• The “Standard Flex” tariff is ideal for those users who want to connect as much flexibility as possible with few obligations. This tariff always applies for 30 days and can be terminated monthly.
• The two “Komfort” variants provide users with peace of mind above all. You can cycle off at any time without having to worry about payment.

You can buy all the tickets detailed on the left in the Mobility Centre and at the Mobility Info points (see back page of this brochure). Many RMV and RNN tickets are also available from the ticket machines, from bus drivers* and from the ticket offices in Wiesbaden and Mainz.
The interactive line map provides important navigation help for you, our passengers.
It will give you an overview of all the bus lines that run in and around Wiesbaden and of all the stops.
