Project description A two-phase project. In the first phase students were asked to redevelop the area around the station including the square and a linear part of the street along the train tracks in terms of urban space in groups of four. In the second phase they were asked to design the square that faces the station and the station itself according to a programmatic brief individually.

Program Entrance (open, semi-open and enclosed), Ticket office, Automated ticket machines Luggage / Storage, Tourism Info Office, Waiting Area (open, semi-open and enclosed), Café , Kiosks (3 units), Common services.

Site Archeology Museum and ADD Park, Selcuk, Izmir

Project description A two-phase project. First phase is group work and second is individual. In the first phase, students were asked to develop an urban design idea for an

archaeological park, that is the area which immediately surrounds the museum—including the Uğur MumcuSevgi Yolu that links the museum on one side to the temple of Artemis and Ephesus and on the other to the train station. In the second phase, they were asked to design a visitor center and the area that surrounds the building.

Project description A two-phase project. First phase is group work and second is individual. In the first phase, groups were asked to develop an urban design idea for the area where the street market is held and which is immediately behind the bus terminal. In the second phase, they were asked to design the social

center and the area that surrounds the building. Program Entrance, Social Center Administration, Social club rooms (4 rooms), Performance / Multi-purpose hall,Library, Exhibition area,Café, Common services, Outdoor spaces (open,

semi-open spaces).

Yılmaz Site Near Yagcilar, Izmir. A valley surrounded by vineyards and with

a view of the Aegean sea. Project description Students were expected: to understand and respond to the features of the natural setting

(the valley, slope, the vineyards, the sea, the views, orientation). To provide an efficient spatial planning for the diverse range of public, semi-public, and private activities including gastronomic facilities, and accommodation, production.

Lobby, 10 guest rooms, Restaurant, Wineshop, Tasting hall, Grape reception (unloading deck), Grape storage, Wine production, Fermentation Hall, Bottling and corking, Cellar, Delivery room and deck, Laboratory, Personnel room (includes toilet, shower, dressing room), Secretary, Open office, Meeting hall, Director’s office, WC, Parking (for 2 buses, 20 cars) Total area 12,000 sq.f.
