Prayer to Saint Anne Great St. Anne, whose name our parish bears,

protect us and pray for us, that like you, we may serve God

faithfully here on earth and be with Him in Heaven

for all eternity. Amen

Fr. John’s

Message

You are being enriched in every way for all generosity, which through us produces thanksgiving to God (2 Corinthians

9: 11) Generosity:

-the quality of being kind and generous.

-the quality or fact of being plentiful or large.

Thank you so much for all the candy you donated for —- Sacred Heart Major Seminary’s Halloween outreach! This helps

provide safe trick or treating for the children on the Westside of Detroit. The seminarians also give witness to Christ and our Catholic Faith during this wonderful outreach. The seminarians who came by this week to pick up the candy we collected were shocked with how much you gave! Your generosity is very much appreciated!

Speaking of Seminarians

At the beginning of this semester Sacred Heart Major Seminary called me to see if we would be willing to allow several Theology Graduate Seminarians (who are studying for

the Priesthood) to complete their “Field Education” within our

community. It has been a privilege to have the seminarians learning and serving within community. On

Tuesday, November 9th at 6:30pm here in the church we will be having a Parish Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration with the Seminarians!

During this special Holy Hour we will be praying for an increase in vocations to the Priesthood with the Seminarians. Please join us for this powerful experience and encounter with Christ!

God Bless You!

Fr. John

Living Rosary Prayer Team

The month of November is dedicated to remembering and praying for all those who have died.

Many of these poor souls are suffering in Purgatory until they are purified and made worthy to enter Heaven. They can no longer help themselves and are dependent upon our prayers to assist

them, so in gratitude they will pray for us on our journey.

Our intention is: For all the poor souls in Purgatory, especially our family members and friends.

Thank you for continuing to pray one decade of the Rosary daily for our intentions. Your prayers are powerful and they are making a difference.

The Parish office will be closed from 12:30 - 1:30 Daily for lunch On Wednesday’s the parish office will be remote only.

Please call 586-264-0713

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the
