5. ENTRY FEES

5.1 The required entry fees are:

6. RACE FORMAT

6.1. Classes and divisions may race together depending on the entry number.

6.2. Classes and divisions, except Foil Class and all its divisions shall race a maximum 4 races per day, 6 races per event.

6.3. Foil Class and all its divisions shall race a maximum 6 races per day, provided that no more than 4 races of course racing, 8 races per event.

6.4. 3 races are required to validate the event for each division.

11 SCORING

11.1. The Low Point System of RRS Appendix A and Appendix B8 will apply.

11.2. For Youth Boys Division and Youth Girls Division in Foil Class, the race score shall be the finishing place in Foil Class Youth Division

11.3. For Youth Boys Division and Youth Girls Division in Techno 293 Class, the race score shall be the finishing place in Techno 293 Class Youth Division.

11.4. When 3 races or less than 3 races have been completed, the series score shall be the total of her race scores. When 4 or more races have been completed, the series score shall be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. When 8 races have been completed, the series score shall be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores. This changes RRS Appendix A2

2 NOTICES TO COMPETITORS

2.1. Notices to competitors will only be posted on the Online Official Notice Board at the WAHK’s website (www.windsurfing.org.hk).

5 RACE FORMAT

5.1. Classes and divisions may race together depending on entry number.

5.3 Foil Class and all its divisions shall race a maximum 6 races per day, provided that no more than 4 races of course racing, 8 races per event.

5.4 3 races are required to validate the event for each division.

5.5 If black rainstorm warning signal is in force after 07:00 on the first day of the event, or after 08:00 on the second day, the event will continue and the decision to start the race(s) will be at the discretion of the race committee.

5.6 Races will not be started if the wind speed is less than 4 knots or more than 20 knots ( for Techno 293 Class – Minim Divisions) and 25 knots (for other Classes and Divisions)

6.2 To alert boards that a race or sequence of races will begin soon, an orange flag will be displayed with 1 sound signal for at least 5 minutes before an attention signal is displayed.

6.3 For course racing, 4 races may be sailed ‘back to back’. For slalom course, 6 races may be sailed ‘back to back’.

13 TIME LIMITS AND TARGETS TIMES

13.1. Time limits and target times are in minutes for all Classes and Divisions and as follows:

13.2 The time limits and target times of Slalom Course are in minutes for Foil Class and Divisions and as follows:

13.3 The ‘Finish Window’ determines the number of minutes allowed for competitors to finish after the first competition finishes. Boards failing to finish within the time stated in ‘Finish Window’ shall be scored DNF except those are scored DSQ, BFD, OCS, UFD, RET, RDG or DNE. This changes RRS 35, Appendix A4 and A5.
