Successful implementation involves many critical technical considerations, demanding a well-thought-out design plan to provide the optimal configuration for your needs.

Our Professional Services team will work closely with your team from a complete review and verification of the network design plan and equipment specification, through to the successful integration, testing and certification of the equipment.

Once your hub is installed, we’ll provide a detailed system orientation and documentation package of the new equipment and network.

We’ll also ensure that your network team is thoroughly familiarized with everything, so that you have a solid foundation for operating and maintaining the iDirect platform.

Building on the experience gained from several years of successful implementations, iDirect is uniquely positioned to project manage all aspects of system deployment activities and partner with industry-leading specialists to ensure your success.

Our most popular service includes the hub implementation. Leveraging that expertise we also offer complex services such as complete earth station design and builds.

ub Implementation Services

Hub Engineering Design and Review. iDirect conducts a pre-install survey of the entire IP and RF infrastructure and network design and will provide detailed analysis and recommendations.

Hub and Server Installation. iDirect conducts the entire configuration, installation and commissioning.

Acceptance test procedures. iDirect conducts thorough system acceptance testing.

Network Management Familiarization. We’ll provide assistance and training in the operation of the iVantage™ Network Management System (NMS) and complete commissioning procedures so that you have a thorough understanding of these tools.

Earth Station Design and Build Services

Needs Assessment and Statement of Work. Together we’ll review current and future needs to support service and applications requirements. With the help of site surveys, we will clearly define a detailed scope of work including a project plan, roles and responsibilities and escalation procedures as it relates to all hardware, electrical, and cabling requirements.

Earth Station Implementation. The implementation can include the full RF chain, antenna, foundations, civils and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as monitoring and control systems, equipment racks and backhaul connectivity.

Acceptance and Familiarization. iDirect conducts full system acceptance testing and provides assistance and training in the operation of the iVantage™ Network Management System.

Planning and Engineering Services

Network Optimization

Periodic network auditing is essential to keeping your network healthy and fully optimized. iDirect Professional Engineers will conduct a complete end-to-end network analysis.

Current network conditions and fault diagnostics are assessed and recommendations for optimized network performance are provided. After these are thoroughly reviewed, corrective measures can be performed on-site to optimize your network.

Network Design and Engineering Services

We develop end-to-end network design plans across your entire network deployment to address your specific network objectives.

We deliver a baseline network design recommendation and documentation to fully support the network architecture. Our Professional Services Engineers will manage the implementation on-site. iDirect can plan and execute an entire deployment strategy from start to finish, including staging, implementation, testing and documentation and training.

Application-based Services

Given the sheer volume and complexity of today’s applications, some vertical markets increasingly require a specialized iDirect-based solution able to address unique network requirements.

We’ll manage the complete life cycle of your network implementation, working closely with you from the development and verification of the network design plan through to the successful integration, testing and certification of the equipment installed.

We’ll provide the on-site training and full documentation, so you’re assured of operating and maintaining the network at peak performance.

Cellular Backhaul

A variety of services are available, ranging from cellular backhaul hub installation and remote commissioning to training and complete project management.

Or, you can let iDirect handle the coordination among vendors to make sure that everything from tower equipment to terrestrial trunk access and the Base Station sub-system is working properly.

Managed Network Services consists of hub support and is ideal for operators looking for short-term or long-term NOC solutions when migrating facilities, when they require a redundant business continuity solution, or when operating their own NOC is not as efficient initially or in the long term. Managed Network Services. Constant monitoring and management of hub equipment and remotes with 24x7 phone support. Remote commissioning support, weekly call log and commissioning reports, bandwidth usage reporting and designated Technical Account Manager (TAM) support.

Custom Monitoring Services. Monitoring and management of specific hub equipment, the network and iDirect remotes.

iDirect certified Project Managers are available to provide complete program and project management. We’ll develop the schedule, milestones, and detailed project tasks, supervising all iDirect deliverables throughout every phase of the project, including but not limited to:
