levels and weights accordingly at the time of registration. Open to all youth of Judo Associations

*Testing for Referee Certification/ Arbitrer D’Evaluation: Regional, Provincial C, B or A

*We encourage all judokas to obtain a referee certification and ask clubs to help development

REFEREE SESSION STARTS: 9:15 am

FREE Uniform Shirts will be passed out for all referees to wear. Please wear gray dress pants. (Black pants permitted if no gray)

*Weight Categories will be grouped as close as possible to the actual weights! (We will try to estimate a range of 2kg or 3kg between each category)

Announcements and Salute: 10:45 am

-Kids are asked to be dressed on mat at 10:45am. There is no need for kids to be earlier than this.

Warm Up and

Competition: 11am

*A group warm up will be done with our chosen leaders/guest. Competition to follow

Addition Info:

- Coaches meeting: 10:40 with John Parent at Head table- *All coaches are to pick up “1”Team challenge per team; they must be completed and given back to John by 11am. Coaches will not have to fill out results during the event. This will be done by tournament

director after event and an email will be sent out announcing the team winner and results. -Announcements, Group Warm up and competition to follow

-We plan to use 3 mat areas providing we have enough referees

-We ask coaches to make sure kids stay in fighting areas with their groups until finished. When each category is finished with results, they need to stay to be brought to the medal

table. Please do not leave mats until medal is given.

-Team Challenge-from past records, there is still a chance for clubs that have less than 8 participants to possibly win team challenge depending on results. Good Luck!

CLUB CHALLENGE ENTRY FORM:

*Each club is to pick “any” 8 participants to register for the Club Challenge. *All competitors must be registered with the same club

*Coaches are to fill out Name, Belt and Division only.

*No changes can be made after the competition starts-the copy is submitted to John Parent. *All points will be based on their individual results (original 1st division if applicable) from the

tournament.

Note: If there is a tie in points, the winner will be the team that records the most 1st place finishers of the team. If there is still a tie, it will go to the most 2nd place finishers, 3rd etc

** If after, there is still a tie, the money will be split.
