While we love our pets and yours, due to the nature of our business we can only allow Service Dogs in the lodge.
In accordance with the American with Disabilities Act, Ser-
vice Dogs are allowed to accompany their handlers anywhere
the individual with disabilities is allowed to enter. Service
animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do
work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

RAIN, RAIN AND MORE RAIN . . . go away! I think I speak for most of us when I say this has been a soggy summer! Our end of summer party is
scheduled for 8/21/2021 and is sure to be a great time, come on down and enjoy the day. We have a RAIN DATE of 8/28/2021 . . . Let’s hope we don’t have to use it!

Nashua Lodge of Elks is looking for volunteers to work our upcoming Elks Sponsored functions.
We hope is to get enough volunteers so we can get more members involved with our lodge activities.
When you get involved, you get to see the good we do on a daily basis. But the best reward is knowing you had some hand in supporting your lodge.
Also, by volunteering you are doing your part in assisting the lodge to be as successful as possible. Along with this if you have new ideas, we as a board are always here and want to lis-
ten. If this interests you, please keep an eye out for the next newsletter and at your lodge for upcoming volunteer times and schedules there will also be sign-up sheets at the lodge with slots to fill, please reach out to David Lefebvre for more information:

Nashua NH Elks Lodge 720 continues with an ongoing project to make biweekly deliveries to Manchester VAMC Food Pantry Closet that be- gan in April 2020 and continue through the pan- demic. Using funds Gratitude Grant to purchase grocery Items plus with many members donating grocery items. Manchester VAMC Case & Social workers deliver the grocery items to need veterans
through out Maine and New Hampshire Picture above is member Bob Gravel with (Stan
Pressler VA Pantry coordinator), making a delivery.
Bob is one of the many Volunteers lodge that make project possible other members are: Kelly Dorgan Cote PER,DD,SVP, Jack Balch PER, NHEVSC Chair, Bill Grady VAVS rep, Mike Gravel, Norm Lavallee, Steve Ordway and Don Vincent.

VAMC RESOURCE PANTRY CLOSET
The VAMC Resource Pantry Closet provides food for homebound older Veterans , homeless veterans who
live on a small fixed income even in good times ,oftentimes have to choose between filling prescriptions ,
heating their homes , or putting food into their cabinets. VA case workers & volunteers deliver to those in
need throughout the state. There is an ongoing need for items:

The annual Old Timers event is schedule for
Sunday, Sept. 26 th . 2021 @ 4 pm
Nashua Elks Lodge #720, 12 Murphy Drive Unit B-1, Nashua NH 03051
Program starts at 5 pm with the National Anthem. Followed by acknowledgement of each Old Timer by Al Savage PER, PDD, PSP, HLM
Come early play cards or pool, reminisce, and socialize the lodge opens at 12 noon.
This is the day that the Elks Lodge 720 pays homage and tribute to the lodge’s ONE HUNDRED SENOR MEMBERS
Corvid 19 will be a memory so please come down to the Lodge and enjoy The event is free for qualifying Old Timers Members and their (one) guest.
Invitations will be mailed out in August; an early response will be appreciated.
