INTRODUCTION TO POTTERY with Nadia Miller

Discover a variety of techniques from hand building and/or wheel throwing to transform raw clay into a unique functional or sculptural piece of art. All student levels are welcomed. This class uses mid-range Cone 5/6 materials only. Students will need to bring a small pottery tool kit, a towel, and a few brushes for glazing. Each student will receive a 5lb bag of clay to start. All other clay will need to be purchased sepa- rately and approved by the instructor.
