Simplified Support

HP and VERITAS work together to ensure

For example, patches and updates to the HP-UX file system and volume management are certified by both VERITAS and HP teams and delivered using HP’s patch delivery process. The storage management and virtualization capabilities provided by the VERITAS Storage Foundation solutions enable better hardware utilization and enhanced availability. HP has named VERITAS Storage Foundation as the preferred file system and volume management solutions for highly available HP-UX 11i environments. HP is also integrating VERITAS technology as key elements of the HP Virtual Server Environment (VSE) for HP-UX 11i. The Virtual Server

Environment is an integrated offering designed to create a utility computing environment, in which a pool of dynamically-sizeable, virtual servers adapt dynamically to business priorities.
