2. TRADING INSTRUMENTS TYPES

With tradorax you decide which instrument to use for trading binary options. Each instrument has its unique benefits and features that you can use depending on your preferences.

• High/Low Instrument - a binary options trading instrument in which a trader must predict if the underlying asset will reach a value that is above or below the strike price when the option expires.

• One-Touch Instrument – touch and no touch – binary options trading instrument in which a trader must predict if the underlying asset will touch (or not touch) a specific value prior to expiration.

(7)

• Short term options come with 60 seconds, 2 minutes and 5 minutes expiry times. With short term options a trader speculates if price of the instrument will close higher or lower than the market price at the expiration time. These are actually identical to high/low options, but for the shorter expiry time.

3. IN/OUT/AT

“In-the-money” refers to a situation in which the underlying asset’s value will generate

profit. For example, when selecting “high” on the high/low instrument, the option will be “in-the-money” if the underlying asset’s price is above the target price.

“Out-of-the-money” refers to a situation in which the underlying asset’s value is such that it

will not generate profit. For example, when selecting “high” on the high/low instrument, the option will be “out-of-the-money” if the underlying asset’s price is below the target price.

“At-the-money” refers to a situation in which the option’s target price is identical to the

• Expiration time – the specific predetermined hour and date when the time allotted for estimating the direction of an assets market value closes.

• Target Price - A term representing the value that an underlying asset must reach in order for an option to end “in-the-money”. For example, when using the “one touch” instrument and selecting “touch”, the option will end “in-the-money” if the underlying asset touches the target price.

• Market Price – The current value of an underlying asset.

• Price Graph – A chart of the asset price versus time, including the target price(s) and the time remaining until the option’s expiration.

7. CLOSING POSITIONS

You will have the choice of closing out an existing option trading position. This can occur no matter whether the option is “In the Money” or “Out of the Money.” However, this selection may not be available throughout the whole lifetime of the option.

When a ‘Close at’ selection is available for an open option position, the price bid provided by

tradorax for the option is shown as continuously changing in the amber portion of the

Trading tools (see picture below). Clicking the "Close at" button immediately brings the relevant option to expiration at the price shown.
