• HRSA Scholars are a culturally and linguistically diverse cohort of trainees from social work, nursing, psychology

and psychiatry who plan to pursue careers in integrated behavioral health with populations that are medically underserved. HRSA Scholars complete their field placements in the integrated sites of community partners in Austin. HRSA Scholars receive a stipend during their time in the program funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration.

• Training experiences include: didactic seminars on integrated care, substance use, evidenced based treatments;

two-day motivational interviewing workshop; one-day CBT in primary care workshop; motivational interviewing coaching; behavioral health ECHO Teleconsulting project, RoboAPRN Alcohol Detox Simulations; Opioid Use Disorder telehealth simulation

• Proactive Behavioral Medicine Service at Dell Medical School: At this practicum site I work with a team of
