• 6 feet distance not maintained,
sustained close together work (less than 3 feet) for more than 10 minutes in an hour, multiple times of a day.

Mask Requirements:
• Half-face elastomeric respirator
with filter OR
• Industrial use N95, R95, P95, or
non-NIOSH approved filtering facepiece respirator OR
• Face shield plus an FDA-approved
KN95 mask, surgical mask, or procedural mask (if a respirator cannot be reasonably obtained)
Extremely High Transmission Risk PPE
• Isolation room for symptomatic students or staff, cleaning an

Sanitizing & Disinfecting
• Electrostatic sprayers will be used to sanitize and/or
disinfect classrooms (carpets and desks). This can
be done in 3 minutes. Staff will be asked to be out of
classrooms for 5 minutes.
• Sprayer can be used to sanitize toys and materials
and are safe for students to use
5 minutes after sanitizing.
• Work with custodian to develop
more frequent plans to sanitize
Additional Cleaning Information
• Disinfecting and sanitizing are the responsibility
of the custodian and will be done daily, or at
increased regularity, as needed.
• Each classroom will be provided a bottle of
neutral cleaner (Stride) and a yellow microfiber
cloth for small spills or classroom needs.
Half Day Schedule (Elem ILC)
Elementary ILC and elementary RA half day schedule beginning 3/3: • AM in-person same schedule as building
• travel home
• PM live remote instruction with teacher and paras 3/29 elementary ILC moves to full day
Equipment needs
• chromebooks stay home to support PM remote engagement
• determine what must be provided in both locations and what remains home until full day in-person. Contact director if equipment purchase is necessary.
Secondary ILC
• Secondary ILC full day schedule begins on March 24.
ESAs & Therapy
• Vast majority to remain remote
– anticipate very few caseload adjustments
– no need to change therapists (continuity for staff and students!)
• Currently 3 students with in-person therapy, decided by IEP teams • Assume remote, IEP meeting needed to change to in-person
• If teams determine in-person, notify your director for PPE fitting and possible caseload adjustment
– New assignments will be addressed if needed and with safety in mind (minimizing number of schools, office space, etc.)
• letter being finalized by our ESA leads for therapists to provide to families communicating remote therapy
• Student evaluations remain remote unless determined necessary in-person. Coordinate with teacher to schedule during full day.
RLC K-12
• Majority of RLC services to remain remote unless
otherwise decided by IEP teams. This would most likely happen when there is concern for lack of progress on goals with remote instruction.
• IEP team decisions for in-person
– schedule outside of gen ed time
Full Day Schedule
Recess-yes, with masks or spread out mask
break, option of facilitated activities/games
Lunch-large space identified at each school,
spread out, staff rove monitoring and

• Contract time will be honored • Options
– Paras assist students with remote participation with specialists
• Work with building admin if additional spaces are needed to support student engagement with
specialists without disrupting other students – Teacher can coordinate with principal to identify a
separate location for student-free planning space
– Teacher can plan activities and instruction that paras deliver while teacher is planning
Toileting
1. Universal Precautions continue to be in place for
toileting=hand washing and gloves
2. N-95 masks provided given the proximity with student 3. Gowns available to wear
4. Nursing team is preparing information for staff. Follow
up training as needed with your school nurse. Training to focus on donning ( put on) and doffing (take off)
PPE
5. Bathrooms will be checked for ventilation. For
Inclusion (Elem ILC & EBD)

Instructional Planning
Training is being prepared now:
• small group instruction and rotations • broadening grade band, K-2 to K-5
– pre-COVID we have 3 K-5 ILC, anticipate more – many districts
• classroom arrangement
• assigning paras to support therapies, inclusion,
specialists (think of this in your rotations)
Materials & Equipment

Family Communication

to introduce yourself (in-person and remote)
3. ESAs: therapy services
Restraint
Used if necessary to protect the safety of student or others as outlined in the emergency response protocol (ERP) in the IEP Staff will have access to goggles (safety option) in addition to N-95 masks, and gloves. Gowns are available but not
recommended, change of clothes as an alternative.
