Professional installation guide

Please start from page 8 when you already have an unactivated Windows 7 Professional. Otherwise please start from the beginning of the document.

Please notice; to use Microsoft Download Portal to download Windows 7 Professional installation files, you need a retail key. With an activation key, it is not possible to download operation system files from Microsoft.

Our keys only work with Windows 7 Professional. Special versions like Windows 7 Professional N will not activate with our keys.

How to download an installation medium?

In case you do not have a Windows 7 Professional installation medium, please download the following tool and start it (PLEASE COPY AND PASTE THE LINK INTO YOUR BROWSERS ADDRESS BAR):

When you open the link please click on the dropdown box and choose Windows 7 Professional [En]. You can choose 32 bit or 64 bit, our key can activate both. After that please click on "Download starten". Your download should start immediately. For burning the downloaded ISO file please refer to our guide.

After copying the link, please open your browser and paste the download link in the address bar and hit enter. The download should start in short.

After the download finishes, you will find an iso file in your download folder.

How to create a bootable USB memory stick?

We will copy this ISO file onto a USB memory stick to be able to use it as a startup medium. For creating a bootable USB memory stick, please download the following tool:

After downloading the tool please install it. After installation you will find the Windows 7

Please click Browse to choose the ISO file you’ve downloaded in the previous step. In the next screen we will choose the media type. Please select USB. (You can select DVD too, if you want to install Windows using a DVD player. The guide will still help you with the remaining steps.)

After selecting your USB memory stick please click on Begin copying to start the creation of your bootable Windows 7 Professional installation media.

How to select your USB memory stick as Boot disc?

Please restart your computer after you made sure you have a copy of all your important files. At the BIOS boot screen (you will see Press F12 to Choose Boot Device or a similar text on your screen) please choose your USB memory stick as boot medium.

How to install Windows and enter your activation key?

Your computer should start installing Windows 7 Professional. Please follow the steps until the Product Key section. Enter your product key at the Product Activation step and click

Automatically activate Windows when I’m online.
