Installation

Create Database

Grant Rights

1- Unzip the 1Classified Script then upload the unzipped folder to your ftp server.

2- Go to root directory and find config.php (file) and resources (directory)

3- Grant write access to config.php file

a. In ftp client (e.g. CuteFpt) right click on the config.php b. Choose Properties

c. Give execute and write access to owner and group d. Click on Apply and then OK button.

Configure Settings

1- Run the install.php from install folder as: http://yourdomain.com/install/install.php 2- Complete the steps as shown below;

Step 1

In this step you will configure basic settings for the script:

1- Website (URL): Path of the directory where you have uploaded 1Classifeid script

2- Database Server Name: default to “localhost” 3- Database Name: name of blank database.

4- Database User Name: name of the user that associated to the blank database

Step 3

The installer will execute the MYSQL script and create the necessary database tables and records that 1Classifeid script needs to run.

Post Sponsored Ad

Step 1

1- Click on Post Ad link in the main header 2- Fill out the post ad form

3- Click “Sponsored Ad” Radio button 4- Choose any subscription you would like

5- On completing the form click on “Post Ad” button

6- Application will redirect user to PAYPAL site for payment

7- After completing the payment process click on Return To Store link, PAYPAL will redirect user to the classified script site

8- A payment entry will be saved to database that can be view at

Admin Section -> Subscription and Payments -> Payment Received 9- An email will be sent to OwnerEmail

Step 2

On finish of STEP 1, admin of the site has to do some manual tasks, he will check PAYLPAL instant notification email in his PAYAPL account and verify the payment then he will update ads status to sponsored ad via:

Admin Section -> Classified -> All Classified -> search the ad via ADID or Title

Update the status of the ad to sponsored ad.

Manage Currency

1- Admin will add currencies for the countries at:

a- Admin Site -> World Wide Management -> Country b- Enter “Currency Code”

c- Save Country

2- Admin will set default currency for ads at: a- Admin Site -> Classified -> Settings b- Select “Default Currency for Ads” c- Save Settings

1- Site Settings

a- General Settings

Admin can define Title, Site Name, Site Logo, Language, Google Analytic Code, Site is live / down etc in this page.

b- Listing setting

These settings are used to set the listing type on search result page / category listing page. There are 2 types: List and Gallery

c- Site Theme

This setting is used to change the theme of the site.

d- Web Banners

This is used to set banner of different companies e.g. Google, Amazon, Hostgatter etc on user viewable site. There are different placements for different pages e.g. Home Page & top banner, home page bottom banner, detail page top banner etc.

2- Category

This section is used to manage categories; admin can add unlimited categories with parent child relation. User will post / filter / search ads against these categories.

4- Accounts

This section is used to manage registered user. Admin can View / edit/ delete their profile, make active or ban a user.

Admin can also add new admin users with restricted rights e.g. new admin can manage only Ad Banner / Payments/ Static Pages. Or admin can grant all privileged to a new admin user that all depends on the need and

5- Subscription and Payments

This section is used to manage payments and subscription.

a- Add New Subscription Plan

Admin will add new subscription Title, Amount and Number of days for which an ad will remain listed in “Sponsored Ad” area on main page of user site. On completing days the ads will be removed from

“Sponsored Ad” and considered ad normal ad.

b- Subscription Plan

This will show all existing Subscription Plan so that admin can add/edit/delete these.

c- Payment Received

This page will show the payments received from users against Sponsored Ads.

d- Payment Settings

6- Static Page

This section is used to manage content pages, these pages can contain simple html text or form (available in custom work). Admin can set to show these pages link on top navigation bar as well on footer.

7- Email Templates

This section is used to set templates that will be used to send email when user:

a- Post an Ad

b- Make new registration

8- World Wide Management

This section is used to manage Country, State and Cities
