02 – General information – The Amarok
Information on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions can be found within the technical data.
Not all combinations of engine, gearbox and auto body design are possible. Please discuss your individual requirements with your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles dealer. Only your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles dealer is able to check the necessary combination requirements as well as verify the accuracy and completeness of data in the purchasing system. The payloads listed here have been established allowing for factory options or other tailored solutions that are not included in the standard scope of delivery and services. The actual payload of a vehicle, which is calculated by the difference between the gross vehicle weight and the curb weight, can only be established by weighing the individual vehicle. The product name Caddy® is a registered brand name of Caddie S.A. and is used by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles with the kind approval of Caddie S.A.

Our vehicles are equipped with summer tyres as standard. As of the 12.04.2010, in the Federal Republic of Germany you are legally oblieged to equipe your vehicle in icy conditions, packed snow, slash, ice or hoar frost with winter tyres or all seasons tyres. Please contact your Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles dealer for assistance.
Take-back and recycling of end of life vehicles:

– Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions – The Amarok The Amarok – Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions – The fuel consumption and emission values listed here have been ascertained in accordance with the measuring method stipulated (ECE-R 101 directive 80/1268/EWG which is currently valid). CO2 emissions arising from the production and provision of fuel and/or other energy sources are not taken into consideration when determining the CO2 emissions in accordance with directive 1999/94/EC. These figures do not refer to a particular vehicle and do not constitute part of the offer but are purely for comparison purposes between the various types of vehicle. In addition to the fuel efficiency of a vehicle, driving behaviour as well as other non-technical factors play a role in determining a vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. CO2 is the main greenhouse gas responsible for global warming.

*The use of 95 RON unleaded sulfur-free super petrol in accordance with DIN EN 228 is recommended. The use of 91 RON sulfur-free petrol in accordance with DIN EN 228 is possible, in this case a slight decrease in performance or higher fuel consumption must be reckoned with. Fuel quality unleaded with 95 RON with a maximum ethanol blend of 10 percent (E10) is generally suitable. For detailed information on E10 fuel compatibility, please refer to www.volkswagen.de or www.dat.de/e10liste/e10vertraeglichkeit. The performance and fuel consump-tion figures listed are based on the use of 95 RON unleaded sulfur-free super petrol in accordance with DIN EN 228.

For commercial use: in accordance with EU directive 3820/85, a tachograph is stipulated by law as of a gross train weight of 3.5 tonnes. Retrofitting of a tachograph is possible on all vehicles.
