RUN FOR THE ROSES 5K- 2021
Runners:
Thank you for registering for the 42nd Annual Run for the Roses 5k. We are excited that you will be joining us on Saturday, June 26th and look
forward to another outstanding event!
Thank you!
First, we want to thank you for signing up to participate in this year’s 5K race. Especially after the last year and half, it is so great to see our community be able to come back together to celebrate our vibrant city and celebrate Rosefest. As you move through the race, we truly hope that you’ll enjoy Roseville’s beautiful streets and park paths and soak in the community atmosphere of the event. Second, we want to thank the 30+ volunteers who volunteer their time to make this race possible including race marshals, police reserve officers, water stop staff and general race staff. The race would not be possible without them! Give them a “thank you” as you pass by.
Finally, we want to thank each of our sponsors, who allow us to keep the Run for the Roses affordable. Many of our sponsors have included flyers in this packet.
Tee Shirt and Race Number Pickup
Tee shirt and number pickup will be held at the Roseville Skating Center Rose Room on Friday, June 25 from 8:00am to 5:30pm. We encourage you to pick up your shirt and race number on Friday. For those who are unable to pick up their shirts on Friday, a brief packet pickup will be held on race day from 7 am - 7:45am, but again, please do your best to make it Friday, June 25 for packet pick-up.
Race Day
We encourage you to arrive early on race day to avoid missing the start of the race. Participants may park at the Roseville Skating Center or the adjacent City Hall parking lot.
The 5K race will begin on Cty Rd C- just east of Hamline (adjacent from Howard Johnson Park). Make sure that you allow yourself enough time to walk to the starting line prior to your event. Kids Fun Run will take place at 9 am on the OVAL track.
Masks
Masks are not required for this event; however, we do strongly encourage any non-vaccinated individuals to wear a mask as they walk amongst our facility and up until the start of the race. All racers will be sent off at the starting line together. Racers can remove their masks once the race begins.
