property and casualty insurance group. Formed in 1998, it has insurance operations in the United States, Bermuda, Europe and Asia providing a balanced portfolio of insurance products. AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. became publicly traded on the NASDAQ Global Market in November 2006. AmTrust International commenced its European activities in 2003 with the establishment of AIUL in Dublin. AIUL’s core lines include structural defects, casualty and large volume, low value special risk insurance programs, such as extended warranty insurance for brown and white goods, GAP cover and home emergency risks. AmTrust opened its London office originally located in The Lloyd’s Building in 2003 and the Stockholm office in 2005.

In April 2007, AEL was acquired to enhance AmTrust’s insurance presence within the UK
