Being consistent to our biannual appointment, it is our pleasure to invite you to contribute your work and to participate in the "4th ANSA & µETA International Conference" that will be held from June 1st to June 3rd 2011, in Classical Makedonia Palace, Thessaloniki, Greece.
The principal aims of this event are to bring the CAE Community together with BETA CAE Systems S.A. and to promote an international exchange of the latest concepts, knowledge and development requirements on our flagship software products, ANSA & µETA.
Technical papers outlining the latest advances in CAE strategy, methodology, techniques and applications related to our products are invited.
The language of the event is English.
Topics of the Event - Call for Papers
The technical forum and contributed presentations will demonstrate the current status and the future trends of the application of ANSA & µETA in a spectrum of sectors, such as:
automotive, motorsports, railway, aerospace, shipbuilding / offshore, power tools, electronics, energy, heavy machinery, biomedical / biomechanics, chemical processes, academic, etc.
A wide range of topics on various simulation application fields and disciplines will be covered, including:
CAE strategy & process planning,
Process automation,
Product and Simulation Data Management (PDM / SDM),
Durability,
Crash & Rollover,
Occupant & Pedestrian Safety,
Dynamics,
Noise, Vibration & Harshness,
Computational Fluid Dynamics,
Optimization,
Composite materials modelling,
Climate control,
Engine technology,
Heat transfer,
Simulation results assessment etc. All those who wish to communicate recent advances and future trends in the analyses technologies, methods and practices for solving the problems of the modern Industry, using our software products, are welcome to contribute to the success of this conference. One of the authors of each paper will receive free accommodation for the duration of the event, as a speaker, courtesy of BETA CAE Systems S.A.
Submission of Abstracts, Papers & Presentations
Abstracts of approximately 250 words should be submitted for consideration by February 25, 2011. Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper. The author’s name, organization, address, phone & fax numbers and email should be also clearly marked. The identification of the speaker among more than one author is required.
The language of the conference will be English.
Instructions to the authors and templates to be used for the submitted abstracts and papers are available for download at the conference’s web-page at our web-site: http://www.beta-cae.gr .
Abstracts submission will be made by email no later than February 25, 2011, to: BETA CAE Systems S.A., email: [email protected]
The notification about the papers’ acceptance will be made by March 11, 2011.
Authors, whose abstracts will be accepted and are designated as speakers, will be asked to:
register to the event using a special registration form as described bellow,
submit a properly formatted final paper, no later than April 29, 2011.
submit their presentation files not later than April 29, 2011.
submit a speaker’s information form in order to be properly introduced by the session’s chair-person.
The conference’s proceedings will be compiled before the congress, therefore, please, respect the deadlines.
Speakers Registration
In order to keep a low overall budget for all the participants, there is no participation fee. Furthermore, speakers will receive free accommodation for the duration of the event, courtesy of BETA CAE Systems S.A. Please, note that only one of the authors of each paper can be registered and hosted as speaker. Additional authors may register without participation fee as delegates.
Speakers’ registration is essential for the organization of the event and the accommodation arrangements. Speakers’ registration includes:
delegate pack and full conference attendance,
accommodation and breakfast at the event’s hotel, checking in on May 31st and checking out June 3rd(up to three nights),
coffee breaks during the event,
welcome reception on May 31st
lunch and dinner on June 1stand June 2nd, and
lunch on June 3rd.

The conference will be held at Makedonia Palace hotel, in the heart of Thessaloniki.

Speakers will receive free accommodation for the duration of the event. Accommodation reservations for speakers will be arranged by BETA CAE Systems based on the information that you will provide with the Speakers Registration Form.

Location:
Classical Makedonia Palace, ideally located in the heart of the city and by the sea, offers breathtaking views of the City’s historical White Tower and Thermaikos gulf. It is 15km from the Thessaloniki International Airport “Macedonia” (SKG) and walking distance from the city centre.
Transportation:
The hotel is easily accessible by public or private transportation. Recommended transportation from the airport to the hotel is by taxi. Taxis are available in front of the airport terminal on the arrivals level.
