Installing GLOBODOX Web Client setup.
1. Double click the gdxwebsetup.exe
2. The ‘GLOBODOX Web Client setup Wizard’ will be launched. Click Next 3. Select ‘Automatic configuration’. Click Next
4. Specify the Machine Network Status. Click Next. 5. Specify a password for the user ‘IUSR_
6. Select the location of the ‘GLOBODOX
7. Specify the installation folder for the Web Client. Click Next. 8. Click Install.
9. Click Finish.

Set Folder Permissions
After installing GLOBODOX Web client ensure that IUSR_ necessary permissions to access
I. GLOBODOX Web Client Folder
This is the folder in which GLOBODOX C:\inetpub\wwwroot\GLOBODOX
Users group with Modify permission on this folder.
II. GLOBODOX DBs
By defaultGLOBODOX DBs are located in the C:

Additional settings in IIS to run 32
Windows.
By default Windows does not allow a 32 bit Web application (i.e. Web Client) to run on a 64 bit Windows machine. You will have to enable IIS to run 32
on 64-bit Windows using the Windows layer.
I.To enable IIS 7.0 to run 32
1. Open IIS Manager. (Start Information Services)
2. Expand the machine name node on the left.
3. Right-click Application Pools from the left pane and Pool…
4. In the Add Application Pool window enter a name for the application pool, for example globodoxweb.
5. Select .Net CLR version v4.0.30319.
6. Change the Managed pipeline mode to Classic. 7. Click OK
8. Go back to Application Pools on the le
9. Select and right-click the newly created application pool from the middle pane and go to "Advanced Settings…" in the right pane.
10.In the Advanced Settings window set the Enable 32 True.
11.Click OK.
II. To assign the newly created Application pool to the Website...
1. From the IIS Manager go to Sites > Default Web Site > 2. Select Basic Settings on the right pane.
3. Click the Select button. Select the newly from the drop-down. Click Ok
4. Click the Connect as button. Select Specific User>>Set and specify the credentials for IUSR_GLOBODOX
5. Click OK to close the Edit Application dialog. 6. Click OK and Restart IIS.
