ACADEMIC COURSES
We offer a range of software and introductory short courses at our Manchester & Londoncampuses including certified Pro Tools, Logic and Ableton courses, DJ taster sessions, mixing and mastering crash courses and more.
Please contact us if you would like more information on any of our courses, or to arrange a free course consultation. We can answer any questions you may have and help you decide which SSR course is the right one for you.
www.s-s-r.com
Our Audio Engineering Techniques & Technology course can be additionally accredited by the NCFE at HE levels 5 and 6, the equivalent of a Foundation Degree and Honours Degree respectively, offering a recognised academic qualification.
Our NCFE options can be explained in greater detail during course consultations, and students are encouraged to attend a consultation before taking this option.
Our industry courses are designed for those not wishing to follow an academic route. Whilst there is plenty of theory content, the vast majority of assessments are based on the practical work that you produce throughout the course. Many of these courses assume no previous experience and because they are practically based, they have no formal entry requirements. These courses are also popular with industry professionals who require further training, and offer flexible daytime and evening study options allowing them to fit around work commitments. Applications for our industry courses are made directly to SSR.
SSR’s academic courses are Degrees, Foundation Degrees and Masters Programmes written and delivered in association with our university partners, including The University of Central Lancashire, The University of Bolton, The University of Salford, MMU and Accrington & Rossendale College.
Applications are made via UCAS and loans are available through Student Finance England. You are officially a student of the respective university and have full access to their student support and resource facilities, in addition to those offered here at SSR.
