UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF

(2)

In this first edition of the Lugano Stem Cell Meeting we

would like to offer the opportunity to interact with the

most important key opinion-leaders on stem cells.

The first day focuses on GMP regulation of stem cell

therapies and process manufacturing by listening to

people directly involved in this field. Stem cell biology

and regenerative medicine will also be widely discussed

during the meeting.

The second day is dedicated to the latest benchmarking

and some ongoing clinical trials focusing on cellular

therapy after acute STEMI and in chronic ischemic

diseases.

The meeting concludes with a discussion regarding

present controversies and future challenges. Excellent

talks and live cases from our cath-lab will improve the

knowledge of these exciting topics.

SCM can be followed entirely (from Tuesday 1

st

July 9:50

a.m. to Wednesday 2

nd

July 3:15 p.m.) or one day only.

On 2

nd

July at 2:00 p.m. will start MTE 2008, 5

th

Interventional Symposium on High Risk Coronary

Intervention (common part until 3:15 p.m.). Please

clearly tick in the registration form the sessions you

will attend.

We look forward to welcoming you in Lugano.

With best regards

Giuseppe Astori, Tiziano Moccetti,

Gianni Soldati, Daniel Sürder

Learning objectives
