. Alaska UAV recently hired a UNR Undergraduate Student, Majored in

Electrical Engineering Student.

NASSIC presence at NV Manufacturing/Industry Conference, American

Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, American Association of

Airport Executives Conference, and Telemedicine Conference.

. UAS Jumpstart Summer camp held at UNR (ages 15-17), Air Races Drone

Zone, Reno Air Races.

Awarded National Science Foundation, Partnerships for Innovation Grant

in August of 2014. Grant shared with University of Utah, UNLV, Drone

America, and SpecTIR. Approximately 200K to UNR.

. Two NAASIC name referrals resulted in two new hires with local

companies. Toleo UAV systems, and Truckee Meadows Community College

. Additional industry Relationships: a) Insitu- working on a UAV Simulator

Training program(Scan Eagle), also possible aircraft procurement. b) NASA,

UAV research and development agreement. Also included is Ground Based

Radar testing at Stead Airport. c) Drone America, Flight testing and software

development. d) In discussions with Trimble Navigation-Flight Testing,

research and development of fixed-wing platforms. e)

SpectTIR

- an advanced

hyperspectral imaging and geospatial solutions company. e) Ashima-UAV for

police force integration-design and testing assistance.
