StaƟons of the Cross
The StaƟons of the Cross grew from the pracƟce of early pilgrims who travelled to the Holy Land to literally follow the last steps of Jesus as he went to the Cross. To this day, the faithful make the StaƟons to reŇect on the Passion of Christ and to increase their resolve to take up their cross and follow him.
(Catholic Household Blessings and Prayers, USCCB) You are invited to join us for the StaƟons of the Cross on Fridays during Lent.
The Way of the Cross as composed by St. Alphonsus Liguori can be found at: The Way Of The Cross by St. Alphonsus Liguori (ecatholic2000.com).

The 2021 Catholic Appeal kicked oī with witness talks from Michael MarƟni at St. Anthony church and Bill Sullivan at St. Barbara church. Each spoke of his commitment to the Church and local parish life. Both stressed importance of conƟnued support of the Catholic Appeal. Thank you, gentlemen!
Both Michael and Bill were asked to coordinate the Catholic Appeal last year and glad for the opportunity to actually speak this year. They reported that despite the pandemic closures, both parishes reached their Appeal Goal last year. Thank you, supporters!
Rolling out the Catholic Appeal for 2021 is not back to the regular schedule. With God’s blessings, we can keep the momentum going. This week, those with email addresses should have received a link to view a Catholic Appeal follow up video. In April you will be receiving more informaƟon from Cardinal Sean. In June you will hear again from Mike and Bill when they ask you to Įll out a commitment card at Mass. Keep up your Lenten pracƟces and devoƟons… or try again! Have a good and holy week.
