Carrick is situated in Bannockburn, Central Otago, overlooking the Bannockburn Inlet of Lake Dunstan. All fruit is drawn from the vineyards on the Cairnmuir Terraces, first planted in 1994. Carrick has a tasting facility, an underground barrel room and a restaurant serving innovative regional cuisine. The Winemaker is Steve Davies.

Hawkshead is a Gibbston Valley, Central Otago, Estate specialising in Pinot Noir, owned by Denis Marshall and Ulrike Kurenbach. The wine is made by highly respected winemaker Grant Taylor. With years of experience in Burgundy and the Napa Valley, followed by 12 years as winemaker at Gibbston Valley Wines, his wines have won many awards. The vineyard comprises 3 ha of mature Pinot Noir and 2ha of Pinot Gris young vines. We take exceptional care in growing our grapes, and all viticultural work is done by hand. 2006 was a true vintage year; excellent growing conditions enabled us to produce a premium Pinot Noir in a classic Central Otago style.

Kahurangi Estate is a New Zealand family owned boutique vineyard and winery specialising in handmade wines that are an expression of our site on clay gravels in the Moutere Hills west of Nelson. There are two vineyards: the ‘home block’ planted with some of the oldest Riesling vines ( 1973 ) in the South Island and a new 30 acre vineyard called ‘Five Oaks’ situated on the northern side of the historic Upper Moutere village. Total planted area is 55 acres consisting of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir.

The company is owned by Konrad and Sigrun Hengstler. The Hengstlers originally migrated from Germany to Australia and having decided to become involved in the wine industry realised New Zealand and specifically Marlborough was the place to plant Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Noir. The company's two vineyards in the Wairau and Waihopai Valleys were first planted in 1996. The Wairau Valley vineyard on Foxes Island presents a warm site producing early ripening fruit. Waihopai Valley is typically cool climate; consequently fruit from the two sites are blended to achieve an optimum balance between ripe and juicy fruit flavours with fresh and complex acid structure.

Spy Valley is a colloquial name for Marlborough's Waihopai Valley, derived from the presence of a satellite communications monitoring base within a few km of the winery. Nelson's sunny, maritime climate yields intensely flavoured white wines and concentrated, supple Pinot Noir.
