1. When is the best time to go abroad?

How much time do you need to prepare your stay abroad?

Completed online application form

• Letter of motivation

• CV

• Current overview of your grades

• „Abitur“ certificate

• Documentation of language skills

• If applicable: certificates (e.g. internship), proof of honorary

involvement, letter of recommendation etc.

selection of courses at your host university

Selecting Courses

• Inform yourself about the courses offered at your host university

(website, international office of your host university)

• Submit your learning agreement:

– Agreement on the courses at the host university

– Select courses that amount to 25 to 30 ECTS

Transfer of credit points obtained at the host universtiy

• Credit points can be transferred if….

TU Ilmenau with regard to its learning goals, its number of credit

points and the basis for gradingt
