of the State of Oklahoma

First Legislative Day, Monday, February 3, 2014

Pursuant to Article V, Section 26, of the Constitution of the State of Oklahoma, the Second Regular Session of the House of Representatives for the Fifty-fourth Legislature assembled in the House Chamber at 12:00 o'clock noon and was called to order by Speaker Shannon.

The roll was called with 98 Members present.

The following Members were excused: Enns, Hamilton, Williams.—3. The Speaker declared a quorum present.

Prayer was offered by Pastor Willie Smith, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Lawton. Pastor Smith was sponsored by Speaker Shannon.

Upon motion of Representative Cockroft, Pastor Smith was confirmed as House Chaplain for this Legislative day.

An Act relating to schools; amending Section 3, Chapter 394, O.S.L. 2013 (70 O.S.
