Partner Contracts 2009-2010: Texas Campus Compact

The Foundation for Professional Excellence in the Community College will:

1. Create an area on the Network Website for the Campus Compact content Services include:

Adding Campus Compact as a Partner of the Network Listing Campus Compact on the Partners page

Including Campus Compact in the "Search by Partners" option on the search page Creating a Partners profile page

Creating a "landing page" for Campus Compact with the URL (i.e. www.campuscompact.txpod.org)

Creating a directory page, listing all the content assets with links to each module or recorded Webinar

Updating the directory page as assets are created

Adding Campus Compact content to the Network database and search engine (if this content is to be available to the public)

COST $1,000

2. Produce, edit, and host 12 Web conferences in the 2009-10 academic year Services include:

Training presenters in using the Webinar interface

Preparing and uploading content provided by presenters to Webinar platform Managing the "backstage" of the Webinar during the program

Managing the chat area for attendees and presenters during the program Editing the recording of the Webinar for archiving

Uploading the recording of the Webinar to the archive

Hosting the archive for one year (we can discuss the term of the archiving) Adding the recorded Webinar to the Website directory of assets

$1,200 -- Initial set-up

+ $100 -- Per Webinar (12 Webinars, total)

3. Produce, edit, and host online staff meetings and training sessions Services include:

Meeting with trainers/facilitators to coordinate the format and technical specifications for their materials

Receiving electronic content from providers

Designing presentations based on materials from providers, as needed COST ESTIMATE

$600 -- Initial set-up

+ $100 -- Per session, with our staff assistance (no more than 2 hours) + $50 -- Per session, without our staff assistance (no more than 2 hours) Capital Area College Tech Prep Consortium

Services include:

Creation of a "landing page" for Tech Prep with the URL (i.e. www.techprep.txpod.org) Creating a directory page, listing all the content assets with links to each module Updating the directory page as assets are created

Adding tech prep content to the Network database and search engine (if this content is to be available to the public)

Designing presentations based on materials from providers, as needed Embedding audio in the presentation

Uploading content to repository

Hosting content in the repository for one year (we can discuss the term of the hosting) Adding a listing for each module to the Website directory of assets as they come online PRELIMINARY COST ESTIMATE

$100 -- per module (no more than 2 hours), without design services $250 -- per module (no more than 2 hours), with design services

Year 3/2009-2010 Goals

In conducting the Texas Network for Teaching Excellence in Career and Technical Education,

Texas Community College Teachers Association (TCCTA) dba Foundation for Professional

Excellence in the Community College (FPECC) will:

Maintain current technical and administrative support staff for the project.

Provide technical support services.

Provide renewal for Adobe Connect maintenance support.

Maintain and enhance current web site.

Migrate materials from Collaborators and other partners and institutions to web site.

Continue to work with project director to evaluate web site effectiveness, create

promotional materials, and participate in statewide meetings of users and partners.

Provide ongoing addition of content from partners and institutions into the Network’s

repository.

Collaborate with Virtual College of Texas Project in hosting a Distance Learning Best

Practices webinar.
