Ensure that there is no scaling when printing this file. The target must be printed at 100% scale. Do not select “scale to fit page size” or any other option which changes the size of the print such as borderless printing.
Using the same Marrutt inkjet paper type, repeat this process with a different media setting for each target print (eg Epson premium glossy; Epson premium semigloss; Epson glossy; Epson Archival Matté etc). This varies the amount of ink being applied to your paper, and allows us to determine which media setting produces the best possible ink application characteristic for optimum tonality in colour and monochrome. Mark each test target with the media setting outside of the dotted lines
Marrutt will analyse each target print and choose the best dot gain characteristic to yield the best possible ink response curve for optimum image tonality. One custom profile will be produced and sent back.
Allow the prints to dry for a few hours, then put them in the post together with the REQuEST fORM on the second page. Ensure the package is kept flat; use card protection if possible.

Print Quality Check-up using Master Control Image (two paper credits)
Download Master Control Image: MarruttTEST.jpg and open in your image editing programme such as Adobe PhotoShop etc.

Ensure that your printer produces a perfect nozzle check before proceeding.
Applying your usual colour management procedure, produce your print using your favoured MARRUTT PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC INKJET PAPER. We are unable to supply visual evaluations on non-Marrutt brand inkjet papers.
Allow your print to dry, and post it back to us for analysis with the REQuEST fORM and required Paper Credit Labels.
Marrutt will visually inspect your print in certified perfect daylight viewing conditions against a
comparison perfect master print original. A visual judgement will be carried out to ascertain whether your printing agrees within tolerance in respect of colour, density, neutral tone, curve tonality etc.
If we judge your print to be outside tolerance, a course of remedial action will be advised.
Repeat this check-up procedure every six months to ensure that your printer is producing consistent professional quality prints in colour and monochrome.
