Why Do Metal Roofs Fail?

Changing weather and environmental conditions, aging, and temperature swings take a toll on any roof system, but are extremely damaging to metal roofs. The only way to assure a long-lasting, leak-free metal roof is with preventive maintenance, including a waterproofing liquid-applied membrane.

TopcoaT® premium liquid-applied membranes help

prevent the ravages of UV degradation, while sealing joints and seams that expand and contract during the normal thermal cycling of a metal roof. Installing a liquid-applied flexible flashing material that adapts to the shock of thermal cycling helps prevent deterioration at vulnerable areas.

TopcoaT®liquid-applied sealants and flashing can

be strategically placed at fastener heads, seams, and joints or used over the entire roof to limit damage from thermal movement. Products like TopcoaT® FlexSeal™ sealant used in conjunction with
