Job Description Competently and effectively managing and maintaining a

'Good' or Outstanding' 60 place setting, in partnership with the Nursery Director, to include:

The effective management of staff groups, trainees, work experience students and volunteers, to include advice and teaching

A good/excellent knowledge of Safeguarding and SENCo procedures

The ability to monitor staff and to conduct effective supervision reviews

The ability to review, update and implement all Nursery policies and procedures regularly and to conduct staff meetings/CPD days effectively

An 'exceptional' attitude towards our families, children, staff etc including informationsharing,

advice etc.

The ability to work alongside very diverse staff and family groups

Good knowledge of various computer programmes etc The ability to ensure that the setting continues to be judged as 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, for the ultimate benefit of our children, their families/carers and the staff group

Days and hours of work 41.25 hours pw between 07.30 and 18.30, Monday to

Friday

Salary circa £34,000 pa, depending upon qualifications and

abilities

Qualifications One, or some, of the below qualifications are required:

*Level 3 or above in Childcare and Education, with a minimum of 4 - 5 years postqualification

experience, to include a minimum of 1 - 2

years Deputy Manager/Senior Team Leading experience *EYP/EYT qualification with at least 1 - 2

years postqualification experience of working in Early Years Education

*QTS with previous experience in working in Early Years * Excellent references, of which we require at least 3 *Holding a current (within the last 2 years) successful DBS check, or the ability to undergo this with no 'relevant' convictions being reported

Experience and skills required

*Experience/understanding of SST, 'Communication Friendly Spaces' and Outdoor Experiences / Learning opportunities

*The ability to communicate well with children, their extended families/carers and staff

*The ability to work effectively alongside our Nursery Directors and our senior staff team, for the ultimate

Job Description We are looking to recruit an excellent Practitioner to

offer one-to-one support in the classroom in our Junior Department (ages 4 to 8) from September 2016.

The vacant post will be in the King's House School Junior Department which is for boys from Reception to Year 3. The boys automatically transfer to the Senior

Department for Years 4- 8.

The main duties of the role include:

• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons in the classroom

• Working closely with one pupil with Special Educational Needs, supporting him in all aspects of learning and development

• Supporting the designated pupil in the pool, if required, during swimming lessons

Personal Qualities will include:

• Experience of working with children and a passion for children's learning
