Course Overview: This workshop will familiarize students with test-taking strategies in the areas of Math, English/Reading, and Science. Students will also receive the official ACT Prep Guide, which includes five practice tests. This course is for individuals who have never taken the ACT test. Course Overview: Rev it up! This fast-paced course covers test-taking tips and strategies for improving your ACT score. Students will receive handouts to take home and 2.5 hours of instruction per topic. This class is for individuals who have already taken the ACT test. The book is not included in cost of class, but students will need the Real ACT Prep Guide, 3rd edition. You can purchase a book for $26.50 if you do not have one available. You will also need to bring your MacBook with you to class.

Description: Feta cheese is the quickest and easiest of all hard cheeses to make and it’s a great transition from making soft fresh cheese like mozzarella into making pressed hard cheeses. Classes meet Tuesdays 5pm - 8pm & Saturdays 9am-3pm (Saturday clinical dates and times will be announced in class). This course fulfills the seventy-five (75) hour Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) requirements for training of long-term care nursing assistants in preparation for certification through competency evaluation. Emphasis is placed on the development of the knowledge, attitudes, and skills required of the long-term care nursing assistant. Upon completion of this course, the student should demonstrate satisfactory performance on written examinations and clinical skills. The cost of this class includes textbook.

Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching—Certification Preparation Course

This curriculum will be offered in a hybrid format with on-site labs scheduled as listed below for each part of the program. The remaining curriculum content and exams will be completed online through the Cisco Academy. Access to the curriculum will be given during the first session. Each part of CCNA is 6 weeks in length. At the completion of this preparation course each student should feel prepared to sit for the 220-120 CCNA exam. Exam prices are not included as part of this program. Exams can be completed at any authorized Pearson VUE testing center. All on-site labs will be held on the Bay Minette Campus in the Branch Business Center. Program fee per person includes all training materials, parking, refreshments and a framed certificate of completion.
