TLPs, SPARs and Semi-submersibles
The key to WorleyParsons success is an interface management capability that incorporates naval architecture, hull and topsides design, mooring and riser design along with construction, transportation and installation operations support. WorleyParsons has designed 16 of total 21 currently sanctioned tension leg platforms and has participated in over 20 semi-submersibles projects.
FPSOs and FSOs
WorleyParsons has been involved in over 70 ship shaped facilities (52 FPSOs, 24 FSOs and 2 FPUs) in 22 countries. Our involvement ranges from concept screening studies through to extensive FEED and EPCM deliveries for new-builds, hull conversions including design of the associated topsides and mooring systems.
Brownfield Topsides
WorleyParsons Improvedelivers an extensive list of long-term service contracts for many existing offshore facilities. We provide services ranging from
small maintenance projects through to major shutdown projects including debottlenecking, upgrades and refurbishments. We specialise in portfolio management through our streamlined, proprietary project delivery systems which are scalable to any project size.

Fixed Substructures
WorleyParsons has experience and capability in FEED and detail design of fixed substructures for Offshore Topsides including steel framed structures, gravity based structures (GBS) made of both steel and concrete designs ranging from the shallow waters of the Middle East to the deep waters of the North West Shelf of Australia.
Hook-up and Commissioning
WorleyParsons has experience and capability in HUC services for brownfield and greenfield Offshore Topsides including preparation of strategies and detailed commissioning documents, management and supervision, technical labour, procurement, sub-contract coordination including support vessels and HSE and Industrial Relations management.
Arctic Conditions
WorleyParsons are world leaders in the design and construction support of offshore facilities located in remote, hostile environments. Innovative solutions have consistently been implemented to solve the unique challenges in these environments. WorleyParsons has provided engineering and procurement services for the largest float-over platform in the world, to be located in the sub-arctic Russian waters.
Minimum Facility Platforms
Lightweight, generic, low-cost, offshore Minimal Facilities Platforms (MFPs) are a speciality in WorleyParsons. Cost effective wellhead platform solutions can be developed for both marginal and large multi-drill centre fields. WorleyParsons has set new industry benchmarks and won a number of awards of its innovative designs in this field.
Mega Decks
WorleyParsons has a long history in the development of integrated deck float-over installations and has been instrumental in the development of the analysis and engineering techniques required to expand the range of applicability of the float-over installation. Project Jasmine Area Development Project

The North Sea Jasmine field was discovered in June 2006. The Jasmine development comprises a new wellhead platform tied back to the ConocoPhillips operated Judy platform via a new multiphase pipeline and new riser platform, bridge linked to the existing Judy platform. The Jasmine Wellhead Platform includes a test separator, flare, metering and will be supported by a new bridge-linked living quarters platform. WorleyParsons has been engaged by ConocoPhillips (as Operator) and their joint venture partners BG and ENI to perform FEL 2, FEL 3, detailed design and procurement services to develop the Jasmine field.
Project Browse Basin Development

The Browse basin field lies 300km offshore in a water depth of 400m. The gas reserves are considered high enough to support a dedicated LNG facility. Select has been assisting Woodside to determine the optimal development scenario to best meet its business objectives. Possible development scenarios that have been considered include gas export to new onshore LNG facilities in either Darwin, or the Kimberly, transport to the existing LNG facilities on the Burrup or possible offshore LNG options including floating facilities or fixed offshore structures in neighboring shallow water.

WorleyParsons performed the pre-FEED services for the Equus Offshore Facilities in the North-West Shelf of Australia. The facilities comprise a semi-submersible production facility, including risers and moorings. The pre-FEED phase was executed by the Select / INTECSEA team in Australia. The offshore development in located 180km north of Exmouth, Western Australia, in water depths of over 1000m. The facility design flow rate is 325 MMscfd and includes gas / liquid separation, glycol regeneration, gas dehydration and gas / condensate export.

WorleyParsons performed the pre-Front End Engineering Design (FEED) services for the Shtokman Development in the Barents Sea. The Shtokman gas/condensate field is in the Russian sector of the Barents Sea about 600 kilometres northeast of the city of Murmansk.
The production vessel is a ship-shape hull capable of withstanding the sea ice conditions that may occur at the site and topsides capable of processing 70 million cubic metres per day of gas plus associated liquids.

Project Platong Gas II

The project is an expansion to the existing Platong complex, located in the Gulf of Thailand. Located in 70+ meters of water, the project involved installing a new gas processing platform (PLCPP2) and a new 200 bed living quarters (PLLQ2) platform. Both platforms will be bridge linked to existing facilities. The WorleyParsons scope covered conceptual design engineering FEED, and procurement services including the purchase of long lead equipment. In addition, three new subsea trunklines will be installed to supply the new facilities with gas and condensate. Brownfield tie-ins and system de-bottlenecking on the existing Platong Complex will also be undertaken.

The single largest and most completed offshore facility in the southern hemisphere, project value USD 2.2 billion. WorleyParsons delivered the pre-FEED and via joint venture delivered the FEED, detailed design, procurement and supported fabrication, installation and commissioning. WorleyParsons is currently executing the long-term engineering services contract to support the operation of this facility.
The Bayu Undan surface facilities consist of three primary components: the Central Processing (CPP) Complex, Wellhead Platform (WP1) and the Floating Storage and Off-loading vessel (FSO).

WorleyParsons, through Sakhneftegas Engineering, is providing engineering and procurement services for an offshore platform to be located in the sub-arctic Russian waters. The offshore platform will be the largest open-water floatover topsides in the world and the location brings additional project challenges of an arctic environment and comprehensive Russian regulations and certification requirements. The field will be developed using a gravity based structure (GBS) to support the integrated production / drilling topsides.
Project Umm Shaif Injection Facilities (USGIF)

The USGIF project is the first phase of a major redevelopment of the Umm Shaif Field, located in the Abu Dhabi sector of the Arabian Gulf. WorleyParsons originally performed the FEED for the USGIF in Perth directly for ADMA OPCO and we were subsequently engaged by HHI to provide detailed engineering for its EPC contract for the facilities. Detailed engineering was executed in various locations with the majority of the work performed in Kuala Lumpur. The project was successfully delivered against extreme schedule demands driven by the long lead times on
Project North Rankin Redevelopment (NR2) Project

The Woodside operated North West Shelf North Rankin Redevelopment Project will recover remaining low pressure reserves from the North Rankin and Perseus fields and is scheduled for completion in 2012.
The NR2 Project involves the construction and installation of a new gas processing facility – North Rankin B (NRB) - alongside the existing North Rankin A (NRA) platform.
WorleyParsons provided the FEED detail design and procurement services for both the new platform (in joint venture with KBR) and significant modifications to NRA (in joint venture with Transfield Services).

WorleyParsons provides engineering and project management services via a multicultural team on our Saudi Aramco Maintain Potential Program (MPP) contract, based in Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar). This multicultural team has in excess of 320 personnel with approximately 30% Saudi nationals, 30% Filipino nationals, and 30% US, UK and Australian nationals. The transparent and structured sharing of project information ensures the team has a common goal with set tasks and milestones. Consistency in management delivery and decision making provides clarity and eliminates
ambiguity. As a result, this diverse team provides an optimal service to Saudi Aramco.
Project Global Offshore and Subsea Engineering Services Contracts

WorleyParsons and INTECSEA have been selected to provide engineering and project management services to support BP’s global offshore production and subsea facilities. BP has adopted the use of long-term contracts to ensure its substantial program of offshore and subsea development projects is delivered safely with technical integrity and high, long-term operating efficiency. This contract also includes brownfield topsides modifications for BP’s Gulf of Mexico (GoM) producing assets (Atlantis, Holstein, Horn Mountain, Mad Dog, Marlin, Na Kika, and Pompano), as well as topsides work associated with tiebacks executed by the BP GoM Subsea Projects Group services.

Over the past 15 years Woodside have become a significant player in the global hydrocarbons market. Since 1995 they have contracted Transfield Worley to provide sustaining capital and operations support services to their assets on the North West Shelf. Transfield Worley was awarded the provision of project management, engineering and design, procurement and installation services for brownfield projects, and shutdown and maintenance services for Woodside’s gas assets including the provision of skilled trades persons. The scope encompasses LNG, LPG and DOMGAS plants as well as associated offshore facilities including two of the world’s largest gas production platforms and a floating production, storage and off take vessel.

The Whakaaropai FPSO is a converted tanker with a SOFEC external turret and topsides facilities. Installed in 114m (375 ft) water depth, the FPSO was located on the Maui B field offshore New Zealand. WorleyParsons provided services for concept selection, detail design, construction management for the facility development and maintenance support for the FPSO located off New Zealand.
