Housing, Transportation, and Availability
The internship program consists of three parts, ALL of which must be completed by program participants*:
A 1-credit, 8-week orientation course (DSOC 4200) that meets 1.25 hours per week, from 7:30-8:45pm Monday evenings, starting March 7, 2016 and ending May 9, 2016.
The internship and community engagement component, involving 40 hours per week, starting Monday, June 6, 2016 and ending Friday, August 12, 2016.
A 1-credit independent study course, in the Fall of 2016 In addition, CALS NYS Internship.
In addition, program participants are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
*Students who will be studying away from Cornell during the Spring and Fall semesters may still eligible to participate in the CALS NYS Internship Program. We will make every effort to work with you to accommodate your completion of the required course(s). Please contact Heidi Mouillesseaux-Kunzman

Supplementary Information
In addition to completing this form, to complete this application, you must submit the following three items as instructed below:
1. A copy of your most recent transcript
You can request an electronic copy, online, through the Registrar’s Office.Please request that your transcript be sent to you and then forward it as per the instructions below. This way you will know for sure that the transcript was sent and you have a copy of it, should you need it for future reference.
2. A copy of your current resume
3. A Letter of Interest for the host of each position you are applying for (meaning you could have up to three letters)
Your letter of interest should state why you are interested in that particular internship with that particular host and why your education, skills, and experience would be an asset to the position / host.To keep it simple, we encourage you to consider using the same basic outline for all three hosts but in each letter, tailoring a paragraph or two to that specific host/position. Each letter of interest should be saved as an individual PDF and labeled as “LOI.[Your Last Name and First Initial and Host Name ], e.g.: LOISmithMAcme
***All supplementary items should be submitted to Heidi Mouillesseaux-Kunzman via Cornell's Dropbox (dropbox.cornell.edu). If you are unfamiliar with Dropbox, please see instructions below.
Cornell Dropbox Instructions: 1. Go to dropbox.cornell.edu
2. Login using the “Cornell Net ID Login” option.
3. Once in the site, click on “Prepare Upload” at the far right in the list of icons above the “Inbox”.
4. Enter “hmm1” in the “To” box under “Send File(s); When “Heidi Mouillesseaux-Kunzman” pops up, click “add”.
5. Enter the number of files you are sending.
6. Click “Browse” to upload the files from your computer. When you see the file name to the right of the “Browse” button, click “Send”.
