FRED MEYER VENDORS:

We have recently had several questions regarding the

requested information for the carton labels.

Please read the below to answer any questions that you might have.

1) Where do I Find the correct PO # to use?

Please use the Fred Meyer or Kroger PO number

2) SKU? Off of one product or multiple products on the order?

SCORS carton labels may use either the product upc number or the sku number with 4 leading zeroes for the item inside the box (for "SET-SKUS"

(mixed items in one case), please use the set-sku number or the "case" upc, (not the individual component upcs)

3) Invoice #? Where is this found?

Invoice number is rarely available in advance of the shipment. It is not a mandatory field for your labels.

4) Product Descriptor? What would you like for this to be? This should be the product/sku description from the PO 5) Style ? Is this just 1 style # for a product in the box?

Style number is the item or stock number that identifies the item inside the box. (If the carton contains a "set-sku" with multiple items, the stock number for that assortment is what should be used.

6) Color? Is this just 1 style # for a product in the box?

This is the color for the item inside the box, (ie: red and black, or silver). This is used to differentiate a stock or style number that may come in more than one color. 7) Qty- Is this the total quantity for this box or master carton, or # of boxes in

main/master box?

This is the quantity inside the carton, (ie: 6 pieces, or 12 pieces). If this a SCORS barcode label, the it would never be a master-pack. Master packs should not have a barcode. The barcodes are to be applied to the inner cartons only. The master carton should just be labeled SCORS MASTER.

SCORS Carton Barcode Requirements

Required for shipments to Fred Meyer Chehalis, WA DC only

SCORS is a “one-touch”, automated scan receiving system used at the Fred Meyer Chehalis, WA DC. All “store-ready” cartons should be marked with SCORS scannable barcodes

for automated processing.

Minimum conveyable carton size:

• 6” wide x 9” long x 3” high • 2 pounds

Maximum conveyable carton size:

• 27” wide x 47” long x 30” high • 75 pounds

Packing options:

• Full-case, (shipping carton contains no “inners”) • Master-pack, (shipping carton contains “inners”)

* Poly-bagged inners must be placed in cardboard cartons

Barcode Number Options:

• 12 digit product upc number, (consumer upc number)

• 8 digit Fred Meyer sku number with 4 leading zeroes, (ie: 000012345678)
