Professional Experience
2013 – Present Extension Program Specialist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Plan and develop educational material in the Pesticide Safety Education Program, conduct and facilitate applicator certification programs, write and edit training manuals, develop audio and visual aids for training materials, work with web page design and internet based educational programs. Act as a subject matter specialist for County Extension Agents, governmental agencies and the public. Develop plans to deliver information and technologies on pesticide
education and pest management. Respond to county agent requests for educational materials and professional development training and assist these personnel in implementing and utilizing them. Serve as a technical information source on Federal and
State pesticide regulations involving pesticide safety, pest management, and integrated pest management.
2010 – 2013 Graduate Research Assistant, Center for Urban and Structural Entomology. Primary research objectives: 1) Red imported fire ant (RIFA) feeding in the presence of Pseudacteon spp. flies, 2), Bait preference of RIFA exposed to phorid flies, 3) Changes in worker size class abundance in the presence of phorid flies, 4) Urban population levels of Pseudacteon spp. flies Supervisor: Dr. Roger E.Gold

Responsibilities: present lectures, prepare exam questions, grade assignments, conduct exam reviews, lead field trips and pinning sessions. Also served as the TA for the online version of ENTO 322.
