Virtual Classroom (VC)

In a Virtual Classroom you experience the same benefits of learning as in a traditional brick and mortar classroom environment – without having to leave your office. You will use the Internet to connect to a Fiserv website that is specifically prepared and assigned to you for the session. The website gives you access to a training database so that you can apply what you learn immediately. You will interact with the instructor and other participants as you complete hands-on exercises. And, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share knowledge the same as in a traditional classroom. This training mode is denoted by (VC).

Classroom Training (C)

These sessions offer traditional classroom-style instruction led by experienced product specialists from Fiserv. This group-live instruction is hands-on to reinforce concepts and enhance software proficiency. Classroom training, unless otherwise noted, targets new users and there are no prerequisites. Classes are hosted at our training centers in Phoenix, AZ and Norcross, GA. These classes are denoted by (C).

Data Management System for Asset Liability Management Online Course (O)

Data Management System or Asset Liability

Management online courses teach you how to transfer transaction records from the Data Management System data warehouse into your Asset Liability Manager chart of accounts. You will learn how to set up filters or identifiers in Data Management System and use the combination of values (identifier cards) to target specific accounts in your A/L chart. You will also learn how to set up Instrument Level Processing (LP) as ‘composites’ or as ‘uniques’. And we will cover reports on setup and results.

Prerequisite:

Asset Liability Manager and Data Management System Basic Course (BL)

This course includes basic training in Asset Liability Manager from Fiserv, the asset/liability (A/L) software model that measures interest rate risk. Attendees are introduced to operating Asset Liability Manager in the classroom, and its data-mapping tool, Data Management System through an online course. Topics also include setting up and operating the software as well as, instrument level processing (ILP) functionality for high-resolution modeling. This course targets Asset Liability Manager end users who have a working knowledge of asset/liability management theory, Microsoft® Windows® skills, and moderate Microsoft®

NEW Prologue General Ledger Financial Reports – Beyond the Basics, Instructor Led Virtual Classroom with Hands-On Lab (VC)

In this virtual hands-on class, you will connect to the Internet from your desktop and interact with a live trainer. During this course, your instructor will show you how to create reports with profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, yield/cost ratios, and asset quality, as well as how to create other financial reports that aid in monitoring financial performance. The instructor will also demonstrate how to work with period ranges, row options (base calculations, rollup details, bylines), statistical accounts, eliminations, SQL Server connection to Excel, cumulative transaction journals, and

query/filter examples.

The instructor will review account categories and account groups used to build the financial reports. This online, self-study course series introduces the Prologue Fixed Assets system to fixed assets end users. Throughout the course series, you will learn the basics of Prologue Fixed Assets, which includes setting up Fixed Assets, creating and maintaining fixed assets, processing depreciation, generating reports, and exporting Fixed Assets data.

Prologue Application Administrator (O)

This is a course for administrators and supervisors only. This is a two-environment series, each created for specific environments. Select the course series that aligns with your technical environment:

1. Prologue Application for In-House Environment (login to http://fiserv.maplelearn.com).

2. Prologue Application Administrator for Hosted Environment (access via Intelligent Workplace>Answer Center>Training Center).

Course 1: The Basics of Prologue, teaches the basics

for accessing and navigating Prologue application administrator, as well as how to safeguard your customer data.

Course 2: Maintaining Users and Groups, teaches you

how to set up users and groups, and how to assign security permissions, general ledger account restrictions, and multi-company permissions.

Course 3: Prologue System Settings, teaches you how

to set up user and system component options, where to find information on setting up your modules, how to define your default posting accounts, and how to order check stock.

Course 4: Managing Prologue Data, teaches you

how to manage Prologue data, how to work with and generate reports and report groups, how to scan vendor documents, and how to set up document retrieval for the Director®/Nautilus storage solution.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made fewer than 14 days prior to the first day of a course and five days prior to the first day of a webinar are subject to a 50 percent cancellation fee. Confirmed participants who do not attend their scheduled sessions are liable for a 50 percent cancellation fee. You may make substitutions at any time. Fiserv reserves the right to cancel a scheduled course with a 14-day notice and to cancel a scheduled webinar with a five-day notice to registrants. If a course or webinar is canceled for any reason, Fiserv liability is limited to the fee only.
