Teachers – Principles of teaching/coaching Volleyball

The Teachers Technical Seminar is aimed at primary and secondary school teachers. It endeavours to motivate teachers and improve their techniques in the delivery and practical demonstration of basic skills to school children. Furthermore, it has to the aim to raise their awareness in order to develop their theoretical and practical application of Volleyball techniques. In essence, effective pedagogy in teaching Volleyball in order to further develop and promote the sport at all ages and levels of competition.

Please find below an example of the programme and working hours for the Teachers Course, please note that the duration for the course shown below is five days long, there is no examination component.

Players

The Young Players Technical Seminar aims to attract young players to Volleyball and increase their involvement in the sport. It also provides an outlook on the results from effective and structured training, and thus allows coaches to develop their skills and increase their coaching abilities through structured training programmes. In essence, it is important for the Instructor to gage the situation and provide a programme which will be of most benefit for the young players within the specified 5 days. Please find below a 5 day programme and working hours for the Players Technical Seminar.
